Thread: Master Box Benefits

I was looking thru the skill boxes and noticed the master box is empty of skills aside from DNA bonuses. Seems 2 of the 4 trees are dedicated to creatures and dna skills.


If I was to take the purely crafting route with no interest in animals, would I be able to experiment and make the same quality med and tissues by merely maxing the other two rows of boxes? Or is there a hidden bonus to the Master skill box that is invisible like the Smuggler pre cu.... ?

Master box also has key tissues that you will want to sell.


I am not online ATM due to servers down and I know the Heavy Nutrient is in the master BE box.


Also at least one of the more popular tailor tissues is in the master box.

Master BOX ONLY affect Tissues and Pets thats it, the Doc X-Overs, no offence guys but if they raped your profession liek this you'd be upset as well. only have to go 0404, and can make BETTER meds than us beacuse many of them allready made a mint on the buff game and have their +20 suits experiment suits. That leaves us LONG term, yes I mean long term as in I was a BE when mounts came out , Bioe Engineers basically screwed by the CU.


No I am not quitting the game, BUT I truelly feel they need to ,


Move Instant Stim D's and 1-2 other medical enhancers to the Master BE Box. as well as at least 20 exp points.


My resoning: Master BE not a dabbler BE should make the best medicines, otherwise we end up with a bunch of dabblers playing with them selves (and that can make you go blind). Master BE would be equal to a dabbling DOC with his +20 expermentation suit with the point cost. Now if a doc wanted to become a Master BE and bring his suit he could make soem awesome meds, and more power to him.


BE allready has a limited market, as it stands the profession itself is being ruined completely because now Chefs, tailore and Docs can all go 0202 BE or and make decent tissues, yes Chefs and Docs doen have paticualr ones but they still can manufacturer 80% of their needed tissues on their own, If the devs raped any other crafting profesion this way..and yes BE is NOW a full crafting profession, still unique , but we are. their would bre a HUGE outcry.

You will not be able to make the INN's and some of the tailor tissueswithout master BE. At 0404 you will be able to make all of the medical supplies and a majority of tailor and chef tissues however. At 0404 with a skill tape, you will be able to outcraft a master BE that does not have a skill tape as well.


If you are only interested in making the medicals supplies you only need 0404 BE.

Yes you can and there is no hidden bonus.


This issue was hotly contested byMBE's, (and rightly so), but in the end we dabblers in 0404 BE are just as proficient, (and more so if you have a med exp suit from doc days),as MBE's with tissues and meds.

I agree with you guys. Yes I am dabbling, going to make stim d's really and supply chefs. But if there is no benefit to master box (Which I disagree on btw, and really is SOE's fault) will just fill up the two branches only....

The INN is in the MBE box and so you will not be supplying chefs. ATM the best foods are Artisan crafted and use the MNNs. The best Chef foods are def / cure / resist stuff and most, if not all use INNs.


I am a Mstr Doc that became a Mstr BE and I was primarily a crafter and seller anyway.


One change that should happen to BE, is that is should be a full combat prof just like doctor. After all the Pre Reqs are all combat profs.


We can hope and dabble away. If you can get ahold of pre CU advanced medical comps, you can make the best Stim Ds., something like 30+ Charges and 1200+ power.


I have been crafting with Post CU comps and the best I am getting is 20+ Charges at 1100+ power. I have a 12p suit too.

Oh don't get me wrong I am not mad at doc's they are just doing what tehy need to do to survive, after all your cash cow got taken away. I blame SOE 100% here and they need to fix this issue asap or mnay BE's will be leaving. as it stands there is very LITTLE reason to remain a BE as a primary profession.


Tailor tissues do not sell enough on average to survive, ionce the new tissue crave is over the money will dry up


Chef tissues, hell what chef out there isnt a MBE or has a MBE alt..nuff said


Pets....nuff said


now they give us medical crafting but make it just as viable to be a dabbler as a Master.


There is NO need to be a Masteer BE in this game basically anymore, unless you are simply supporting a chef or tailor.


They need to:


A) Fix pets and fast


B) Make Master worthwhile over a dabbler
