Greetings,

When you clone yourself...do you only have to do it once? Or, do you have to reclone yourself after each time you die?

Thanks,

Deb

It binds you to a location, so instead of getting message about the nearest you can take the one you selected. I not seen my stats change becuse of death after just bought one clone so the answear would be NO.

Its best to clone your self when you have no wounds and such

but you only have to clone once unless you move to someone where else far away other wise you will clone not where u r then

i.e. clone bestine

move mos taike

die - reappaear in bestine

so if u move and plan to stay there for a while then i'd clone there as well

and for insurance if u dont feel like treking to your corpse each time u need to insure every time and it can get pretty expensive

so technically you do not have to clone or insure? will you always be recloned at the nearest facility if you die without having cloned elsewhere? thank you.

Greetings all,

I looked througth this board and found no answer to the problem im having. I recently leveled to Clone ENG 4, and when i try to make a pet from this level 4 line such as Razor´s they simple dont appear in the crafting menu to select...and yes im standing near a Crafting(Chem) facility. Is it something about my chem crafting tool ... not good quality enough? Or something else im missing?

Thanks in advance....

I've had this happen also, but when i use my chrafting station in my house or my droid with a crafting station I can make those pets. Both the droid and station at my house are newer and good stations so it may have something to do with that but anyway try a newer station from someone or get one yourself.

I think you are right Dumnfool (despite your name :-) ). When I wanted to make some clones while a new guy grinding med xp healed my burn wounds, I tried using the med center Rating 12 Food/Chem crafting station, but few clones showed up in the listing. I pulled out my surgical droid (with a built-in FC crafting station), they were all there again. My own rating 43 station also works nicely, so the magic number is somewhere between 12 and 43... :-)

You can check which clones need a private crafting station (or you can use a food/chem `droid as well) by going to the Schematics section of your datapad and looking up the requirements for the clone you want to make there.

Thanks so much for your reply. I didn't understand what they meant by no PVE XP loss, since you didn't loose XP from dying but cloning. They should have said no XP loss from PVE cloning. Oh well, I'm blonde and probably the only one that didn't understand that. Thanks again.

A few questions:

1- Someone told me that if you clone at a force shrine you don't lose the xp for cloning. Is this true? Or do you lose a certain amount no matter where you clone?

2- How much do you lose to cloning?

3- How much do you lose to a BH if they kill you? If my mission is worth 92K, how much XP do I lose?

4- If you have a 92K mission already out, can I respec to no novice boxes, get killed, lose 4500 in XP then respec back to what I had? Or if the mission is already set, do you lose what it's worth no matter what you have?

Thanks for the help, I just don't understand the XP loss yet and am curious what should be done (I'm already -101233 jedi XP, for grinding in a group and being hunted). Just trying not to lose very much more XP.

3- How much do you lose to a BH if they kill you? If my mission is worth 92K, how much XP do I lose? if your mission is worth 92K you lose 184K. there is a bug that if the BH has an inspiration buff you will lose an additional10%

Or if the mission is already set, do you lose what it's worth no matter what you have? NO, well maybe... It depends on if the BH took your mission at 92K or at 25K. if he took the mission while it was 92K you lose 184K. Once the BH accepts the mission its locked in for him or her. You doing a respec does not change the payout or xp loss.
