Thread: Can This Happen
Well noone could summarize what was on test center for me, so now Im gonna put it very simply, is this possible.
Gurreck
CL 70
4k Health
2k Action
1k Mind
Light Armor
95% Kinetic Resist
50 dmg

I don't think their are any DNA-Sampleable creatures with 95% Kinetic resist.
You lost me, lol, thats the problem. But you did answer with a definate no, if you mind would you explain the new system to me.
There needs to be creatures in the wild with stats like that for us to make a BE clone like that. Since there are no 4k HAM creatures (approx. lvl 16) that have light armor or anything NEAR 95% kinetic resist, that would be a negative.
Missle, I always like your posts, but I think on this one I am differing a little.
The ham on the creature is dictated by the ham you put in. It would be easy to hit 4k. The part that makes that unlikely though, to me, is the CL 70, 95 kinetic... The biggest question is... How do you hit 95 kinetic. In order to have stats like that, what level of DNA would you have to have? And if any of the DNA were not CL 70 and it could not have been, then would it be CL 70. No.
I would imagine if you combined Gnort DNA with a Mutant Rancor, you would end up with a level 35, limp wristed Rancor that wants to hide in the ground.
No one would want a pet that could not hit hard enough to take aggro.
For that matter, I am not sure if any CL 70 pet could pull aggro.
The way the game works right now is the creature attacks the weakest target. This has made it harder to get them to hit the pet instead.
/emote searches around on the ground for her jaw
I want one o' dem! Death By Cuteness! Wheeeee!
I'm glad to know something like that is possible...now the question is, what the heck did you do? Engineer stuff down? Put in the armor-bearing DNA into something really weak, sample that, add it to something with big HAMs? Is it vulnerable to everything and Great Aunt Tillie as a trade-off?
I believe BE's make them better by allowing you to have a creature with the resists of a Graul, but the mind ham of a Durni and the special attacks of a Angler and putting it all on a Kaadu that you can ride around.
This is all theoretical until the patch goes live.

if you can only get stats from wild creatures, how will your pets be better then wild ones.
BE's also have experiment points that we use on the DNA Template to enhance the clone. Atleast thats the way the current system works. Hopefully the new system should work just the same.
