WOOHOO, so we're getting more clones, and the generic template means

a) we'll get a lot more control over the final product, or...
b) we won't get any more control, but we'll just have a one-size-fits-all template, sorta like taking the current templates and converging them all into one single item.

And I posted this info a little while ago

Well, between server crashes, it seems the new system is not completely working on TC. Any time I try to craft a new creature, I get an "Internal server error: no owner for player" or some such and I lose all the ingredients. Also I'm seeing no new info for the cloning process, it's pretty much the same as before. Lastly, the one Blurrg I made with junk dna, had pretty much the same stats as live. I expected low level stats. Same with a dewback, same stats as live and now way found to change colors. Sorry for the bad news, but this is wht we have TC I have to get to work now, but I'll post this for Keldarin on the Correspondent board so he can look into what's going on.

I was told by a DE that the error I'm getting was on Live a while back for driods.

NIce, looks like a great cross section of types. I think I might have to see if I can grind up the skills I need in 3 weeks, I was kinda hoping tobe one of the people to makedecent cloning guide first

Oops i was gonna comment on the clones

Beared Jax - yawn
Durni - yay
Eopie - yawn
Gnort - isn't this the same as a Durni?
Ikopi - mehh
Kaadu - yawn
Squall - yay, bunnies are great
Swirl Prong - mehh kinda dull, but they dont have babies
Vir vur - could have sworn they looked like squalls

Bageraset - yeah i like these
Cu Pa - now if only they were mounts like Taun Taun
Dewback - yawn
Gualama - yawn
Gurnaset - these don't have babies so yay
Huurton - finally something for the dog lovers
Kahmurra - yawn
Krahbu - i hate these with a passion
Kwi - yeah i love these too, i had a tamed one for my other account
Mott - pigs, not great but nice variety
Roba - more pigs
Tybis - don't have babies, so it's all good
Verne - these look bad ass, not sure if they have babies or not

Boar Wolf - i kinda like these
Bocatt - not seen many but they're exotic
Carrion spat - yawn
Choku - yawn
Dune lizard - giant rills but nice
Gurrcat - yawn
Kima - small and ugly
Kusak - yawn
Langlatch - small and ugly again
Pugoriss - yawn
Vesp - these are nice for lizard lovers
Zucca Boar - yawn

(note: cloning 2 is now officially disappointing since it's filled with ugly and generally uninteresting types)

Bantha - yawn
Blurrg - thats a betetr place for them
Bol - yawn
Bolle Bol - not bugged but still yawn
Bolma - yawn
Bordok - these are kinda exotic plus they don't have babies
Brackaset - yawn
Falumpaset - yawn
Gronda - i have one of these for my other character, strange appearence
Piket - ohhh, i like their mohawks
Ronto - yawn
Snorbal - fixed i hope
Thune - yeah these are nice

(note: clone 3 looks like it's officially for large beasts of burden it needs more new types cause it's mainly all existing ones)

Angler - arachne species look-a-like, whatever i've always liked these
Dalyrake - mehh
Guf Drolg - yeah well i like these
Gurreck - yawn
Hermit Spider - i like spiders
Kliknik - ooo, now this is a surprize
Mawgax - saw these on Yavin4, i like them alot
Merek - wow, never expected them to give us these
Narglatch - yawn
Razor Cat - yawn
Shear mite - YAAHOO, i love these
Slice hound - another canine and one of the best

(note: looks like Keldarin is grouping them by types. These are bugs and somewhat nasty looking things I'd say. Too many new additions here and not enough in clone 3, move the Mawgax and slice hound as they don't make sense here)

Fambaa - yawn
Graul - yeah i like these in appearence
Huf-dun - why is this in master?
Kimogila - they told us we were keeping this
Malkloc - yeah i like these
Rancor - yawn
Sharnaff - trying to remember what they look like
Torton - yawn
Veermok - yawn

(note: considering how much was added to the other boxes there isn't nearly enough for the masters to work with. What I'd like to see is some Gaping Spiders, crystal snakes, peko peko and many of the other things we requested please)

Right. This isn't looking very promising. Now we've had many many discussions on these forums about what new species we wanted to see based on requests from the public. Take a look at these additions and they are very obvious by their absense..

Fliers and Snakes!

We requested fliers as one of our highest and most wanted types of animals, snakes came in a close second really. Given that there is a decent variety of flying species they could at least have given us 2 or three of them. They have a good handfull of options here...

  • Mantigrue

  • Peko Peko

  • Whisper birds

  • Latern birds

  • Reptilian fliers

  • Spineflaps

  • Correlian butterfly

  • Gackelbats

  • Borgles

... to name but a few which occour to me. There's also those half bird things from correlia, the mantigrue like species from Lok. Those pteradon style species on Rori which are very cool in appearence. Give us some of these PLEASE!!

As for snakes.. there's alot less to pick from. There's only to my knowledge crystal snakes from Yavin4, Rawls from Naboo and Spiked Snakes from Lok. On the whole I'd at least like to see the crystal snake please.

I had a spitting rawl for a long time. While I loved what it did in battle, it was worthless when moving around on the mount. Within a week of getting the mounts I released him because I wasn't getting any benefit from having a mount when I was constantly having to stop to wait for my stupid snake.

All and all, I'm happy to be getting some new critters. I don't care for flyers or snakes, really. As long as we're getting more variety, I'm happy.

Talthazar,

Can you please find out if this publish is scheduled for December or January? I've heard both.

What the other Tal said. Every post I've seen on the matter says that this is slated for Early Decembter.
