Thread: With the patch pending, what should I do?

I'm currently 1/0/1/0 in BE. I'm getting close to the XP for either tissues 1 or Experimentation 1.

Would I be better served to just keep moving up in Creatures to get to 2, or should I put the XP into Experimentation so I can potentially make the Novice and Creatures 1 critters better?

Basically, should I make more creatures with less experimentation, or should I make the lower stuff better?

I'd say go up the Techniques line first. Always. Make what you can make better. Or maybe get to Tissue Engineering 2 for pet stim B's, and then up Techniques.

Just my opinion.

I went up Engineering Tech first. I find that I am able to sample the garbage around the city boarders and experiment it up to something half way usable. low level critters with no vuln are prime canidates for CL 10 pets which there will be an overwhealming demand for when the patch hits live.

If it doesn't have armor, vulnerability is irrelevant beyond it having 0% resist to that whatever. =) Since it has no armor, if I could get bonus 'CL room' out of including a lot of vulnerabilities (that don't make it any more vulnerable than no modifier) so I can push some resistances higher, I'd do it in an instant.

Something that reads:
Armor: None
Effectivenes:
Kinetic 5%
(no special protection, no vulnerability)

is worse than
Effectiveness:
Kinetic 40%
Energy 40%
Vulnerability:
Acid -
Stun -
Cold -
Heat -
Restraint -
etc etc etc

with all the clones I have made so far, everyclone that had only one resist in the 40% range was usally around CL 20. for a CL 10 pet I am thinking the best you will be able to see is something with resists between 5% and 10%
