Thread: Malkloc Plainswalkers
Young Malkloc Plainswalker - Light Armor - 65% kinetic, 40%energy, 90% stun (got 3 samples before they began their battle - HQ, HQ, VHQ).
Malkloc Plainswalker (CL84) - Light Armor - 100% kinetic (one on one with a mutant rancor and kicked it's a$$ and still had 98% health left)
Female Malkloc Plainswalker (CL81)- Light Armor - 100% kinetic (was hitting for 500-800)
One of them definitely had some kind of AoE - since it kept getting my attack going when I was standing and watching them fight. One of them uses knockdown.
Accidently trained my muntant rancors into them. The regular Malkloc went one on one with a mutant rancor and took him out in about 5 minutes and still had 98% health. Then the female agro'd on the youth andhad only got three samples by then. The parents fought the youth for about 15 minutes before they finally killled him. Then the Female started beating on the regular Malkloc and I could tell that was a never ending battle since they both have 100% kinetic.
One hour later they are still fighting and are at 98 and 100 percent still. Going to sleep and will check on them later!
SWGCreatures lists both the Plainswalker and the Female Plainswalker as having Force Strike as one of their specials (force knockdown). I really wish I could sample them. ![]()
As to where they spawn, I've had some success in the area around the Sarlacc Pit (one of the POI's). Lots of Rancors spawn around there as well, so even if you don't find the Plainswalkers it's a useful trip.
I was out by the pit this afternoon ran into a spawn of them got 13 sample from young ones.. I to have been search all week for them and found a gold mine ![]()

I find them on Dath down to the SE by the Battlefield then in a 1K meter wide ( north/south ) path to the west of the map from the Battlefield, which is the Southern Plains ( go figure huh hehehehehe ), usually I can find 3 to 4 groups roaming in the plains ( lord I love the Swoop bike ) but when I go there I am ONLY seeking the plainswalkers, otherwise it's the 1K meter wide ( east/west ) path North ( Spider fanatics ) to the South ( Nightsister vs Singing Sister Battlefield ) seeking the Mutants ususally 10 to 12 groups.
Has anyone else noticed that they seem to go nuts more as you approch? spent 4 hours sampling from 11 groups ( groups size seems to have increased also, seeing more 6 to 7 in a group and less 4 or 5 ) and only got 3 samples as they'd bust a muscle as I got near. hehehehe

force strike is verboten on clones... AOE attacks won't stick past the DNA combine.
aggravated bordok mares on endor have this special attack, as well, if you want to give it a try.
the reason mobs will attack their own kind is almost always due to an AOE attack.
