Thread: BSNs etc
Hmm, so does this mean you are using that OQ 1000 stuff from Tatooine in BSN? If so I hope you are charging a lot for it, lol. Somehow I just can't bring myself to use it in a consumable like BSN. Maybe because I have so little of it (10k). For me the quality of BSN is strictly determined by dath carnivore meat as that's the only thing I can get in quantities large enough.
By the way, I saw some of that tat carnivore stuff on the bazar last night. I think they wanted 50cpu or something like that. It'll be interesting to see if it sells.

ALOT of this depends on the server and what resourses have spawned recently. Up untill this last cycle 84-85 was totaly acceptable on Bria as there hadn't been some decent spawns in awhile but now we have 2 spawns at the same time that allow 88's to be made.

Looking at swgcraft for my server, there is nothing listed that can make an 88 and only a few resources that can make an 87. But resources for 84-85 seem to be up most of the time and could probably be found without too much effort.

It seems a relatively significant "jump" is needed in resource quality to make more than 1-2% difference in the finished product. As a customer, I know I'd rather have the +400 brandy rather than pay an extra 25-50k for a crate of 415. With that thought, is it more "cost effective" to simply use slightly less than perfect stuff for sale in order to keep a larger profit? I mean, if I can harvest 1million of the resources needed to make pow 83 BSNs or buy at a higher price the stuff to make 88s, it seems that the 83s would be better on profit. Guess I'm mainly asking if people would still buy the slightly lower BSNs for less.
(Alot of this is really not that important I guess as I am the BE for my guild now, so most of it stays in house either way Mostly, I'm curious about the econimies of the servers and how BEs and BE products are fitting in)
