This is somewhat similar to the recent chef threads, and I'd like people's advice on it.
I'm a novice BE, sampling and cloning my way up the skill trees (I'm currently 0-1-2-0). My sampling is improving, and I'm beginning to get Above Average samples, and when my backpacks fill up I'll clone a few Kaadu or Swirl Prongs. However, once cloned, these things take up a lot of space. I can re-sample them for 50-odd XPs (woot!), or I can try and sell them.
If I want to do the latter, I don't have any regular customers - I've only sold one, and since discovered I sold it far too low (10K for a lvl 10 with 3k ham). In fact, i would have thought 'regular' customers are unlikely for cloned creatures - the turnover of creatures can't be that high can it?
So my alternative solution is to sell them on the bazaar for 6K. However, I obviously don't want to hurt BEs who are making a living selling these things, nor do I want to damage my own chances of profits in the future. So is selling them on the bazaar a good thing or a bad thing?
What's everyone's thoughts on this?
Thanks

If I'm trying to make Non-CH pets and it all goes balls-up and ends up being CL 6 or 7, I'll whack it on the bazaar for 6k. They actually do sell, strangley enough. Anyway, I wouldn't say 10k is way too low, I try and sell my Non-CH for 20k and sometimes I'll get 4 or 5 tells enquiring about them and will sell a couple. Other times I get no interest and drop to 15k maybe, or lower. I don't have the luxury of a vendor, so the best I can do is spam at Coronet or Theed. I'm at BE 2-1-4-2 BTW.

Try renaming the pet "CH xp grinding pet" and throw it on the bazaar. You can probably sell them easily. A CH that can teach at least ten tricks to a pet will get at least 1000 xp, which at that stage in their career is the fastest way for them to level, provided they had a steady stream of babies/BE pets to tame.

not only can they teach commands to the pet, but BE pets learn them much easier than wild ones.

Do CH's now get XP for training BE pets? (They didn't when I mastered CH - some months ago before the BE update)

Make junk pets, don't spend too much time on 'em except to experiment, and like they said, sell 'em as CH grinding fodder... you'll make a little cash out of the deal... if you can find a hologrinder, even better

I'm a novice Creature Handler and how on gods green earth do i sell my mounts and other pets on the bazaar? I have seen pet deeds but have no idea how to make my pets into deeds.

Sorry bud, you can't. The deeds you see are Bio-engineer made, and have yet to be tamed. You can't "pack up" tamed pets into deeds... Would make life much easier on us though, but as far as I can tell making life easier for us is not on the devs current agenda. /bittermode off

Why you can't sell "used" pets on the bazaar or a merchant, I'll never understand.

It makes it harder to make a living out of CH, and harder for non CH to find a mount or lowlevel pet.
