It entirely depends on you, weither you have found a nice spawn of mobs the right level near to each other, weiither you are clicking buttons and selecting menus optiimally etc etc, you could be a person who stops to chat every two minutes so it might take longer for you, there are too many variables to say yes or no it's slow or it's now.
As to the length of time it takes to take a sample, it usually 10 to 15 seconds from clicking sample dna to gettign the result, so figure in how long it takes to find the creatures, how long it takes to either delete thbe dna samples from your pack or craft them into templates into how long it takes.

Also i noticed you have created 3 posts for 3 questions with almost the same posting time, it would have been better if you had put the 3 questions in 1 post, that way you will attract less forum trolls

12 seconds for me.
I think. I WISH it was faster. Or give me some PCR equipment and I'd mass manufacture the DNA i need please.
