Thread: [CU] BE Tailor Tissues

So, any word on what direction these are heading?

We have a large amount of tissues that are either now useless or will be converted to something - but what? Not a word from the Devs as usual and they are already testing the conversion without a change to our tissues first. This leads me to believe they will become useless, that worries me.

The Docs have done a decent job of getting the new med resource requirements changed to something manageable, but the Tailors don't have as large a voice - so these seem to be getting ignored. The general public aren't going to bring this up as a large concern either, so it's up to us.

Any word on this Arthur or anyone? (without breaking an NDA of course)

No worries, I've got this covered. I've already pestered the devs a few times about this pro-actively, but last night was the first time I was able to see them with my own two eyes. It looks to me like the tissues are unchanged (at least up to and including the x-2-x-x ones). I started making tissues last night and will be working with Gyopi (tailor corr) over the next few days on getting these tested and seeing exactly which ones do and do not work. Since none of my testing is under NDA, I'll be posting all my results here (in addition to pestering the devs of course).


That's not to say that I can't use some additional help with this though. If anyone on TC would like to help testing these (or anything else), please let me know, and of course please post the findings of any testing you do on your own here.

I made novice BE last night along with Novice CH.

I hoping to spend plenty of time grinding up both of them over this week.

If they indeed remain unchanged with CU, I'm really going to ramp up my Tensile Resist production. I am down to 12 crates on my vendor, time to whip up more. If the CU brings unwearable clothing at 0 condition, these things are going to be very popular.

I can answer that one... clothing is perfectly wearable at0 condition in the CU. I know this because my clothing is all at 0 condition after many many deaths on Dantooine, hehe.

I did some testing a verified that not only are the tissues currently unchanged, pretty much every skill mod they effect is still in game. Stun, warcry, intimidate, bleed and cover are all still in the game albeit spread out among professions a little more. Taming and camo/mask scent obviously won't change and even though they only have one pool to work on now doc treatment tissues are also still useful. I've heard that currently myoflex speeds up the time of the new entertainer buffs but I haven't checked on that personally.
