Thread: What to do now?

I am a rogue and a fixer now. I have no interest in being a smuggler artisan(although I do have slice 2 so I can slice my own weapons). Now I am gonna focus on my pistoleer part. The only problem is that skill points are a premium so I can't have it all. What would be the best skills for me to get?

Personally, I'd suggest leaving pistoleer alone and going for Teras Kasi. Ideally (and I say that loosely, sinse our combat line is obvious busted), Dirty Fighting should take care of our pistol-slinging ability, at least nominally. And remember you've got 4 levels of unarmed, plus 15 skill points in novice brawler just sitting there. Use it!

I disagree. Ideally, IMO you should go pistoleer and go with the 2 lines that have skill mods. Marksmanship and special abilities. This gives you the most improvement in your pistol skill whlie leaving the MOVES to your smuggler line. Then get CH and/or medic skills to truly fill out your characters combat abilities.

So what do you suggest now due to the ch nerf thats coming, strictly use bh or maybe use a combo bh/pistoleer or bh/medic..right not i am 0 0 2 2 bh almost pistol 3 bh.. Any suggestions would be helpful

You do not need a pet to kill things, I will state this repeatedly, yes ok Krayt's you need them because of their /teleporting but for a mark or anything else in this game no.

I am testing the method of gaining investigation experience by taking only lame missions. Difficulty 5 and 6 only. It is working so far, and I lay waste to the targets.

I'm a TKM that is truly in love with the profession like many of you.

Also like many of you, I tried Doctor.

And like many of you, I tried CH.

I dropped both, because both were boring. WAY too many CH's... It's like "Here let me pull my Graul." *Echo's 10 times in the group*

Doctor was just... boring. ALL those skillpoints for what? Super healing, and buffs. All the resources were a pain to come by.

So I'm riding up Pistoleer now, but don't even know if I want to keep that..

Does anyone have any advice on any other professions that could be helpfull/fun in PvP? I'm thinking about Mastering Brawler, but what to do with the left over points?

I have started up Pikeman, and I am having a load of fun. Accuracy sucks.....speed sucks.....but there is just something fun about it. Perhaps it is beating things senseless with a stick.

*Shrug*

Might try it out, although I have a feeling I am going to need alot of patience to get to master.

Hmm.. I dunno. What I really want is another profession that would actually benefit my Teras Kasi, because that's really all I want to use. Another melee profession could be cool, but I probably would never use it.

Oh and the politician post was great, stuff like that would have to be just as boring as crafting to me though.

use master tka as a build-up to another combat profession...you get wonderful defenses now against most types of damage...smuggler or commando is a given to be a natural progression beyond master tka...

I made master combat medic a few weeks ago and I'll be honest I grinded the entire prof in a couple of days so I'm still learning the mechanics of the profesion...

But what I was wondering is what do all you MCM do after you master? I really like Combat Medic but I'm having a hard time finding stuff to do with this profesion other than PvP. Is PvP really the only thing for CM's? or am I just missing some important detail that all you long standing MCM know to have fun with the profesion with out PvP?
