Yeah, just got BE this week on Eclipse, what an awesome prof. I really like the dna system, it's a refreshing change from all the other crafting. If I wasn't at work right now I'd be playing it and not posting.
I love the ninja BE kill though. Masking scent and sneaking down to the bottom of caves to assisinate the boss and elites. Lets see any other prof one hit a creature twice their level
. Not to mention all the lvl 10ish creatures I've been making have been selling like hotcakes.
To that effect too, what's the best damage you guys have gotten on lvl 10s and lower. I need to make a kashyyk run to get some higher end dna, haven't done that yet. However I've gotten a couple lvl 8s and 9s with around 240 max, pretty sure I can do better.
Keep up the great work with theboards, you've got great info up here,

YEa i remember when I tried BE the first few weeks of the game, my and my buddy were living on Naboo getting our asses handed to us by Ragtag kooks and the like. HE didn't know I was a BE yet, i walked up to a faamba and said "watch this". Needless to say he was impressed i dropped the biiiiiatch with one sample! He's like "you made jedi already!". Ahh good times.
We actually had to move OFF corellia because the meatlumps were harassing us so badly. I remember we packed everything up, hit the spaceport to move to naboo, and 10 meatlumps chased us all the way into the starport. It was funny as hell. Ahh good times.

I love how rontos look surprised and then die spectacu... ok i can't spell it. but you know what i mean...
I don't make lower than level 10's because there seems no point - i feel like anything that is lower than 10 or higher than 10 is a 'failure'
Best damage I have ever gotten on a level 10 is 240 and about 1000 health tho. He is my own personal pumpkin baby bantha and he dies quickly if he gets aggro instead of me - unless i am there to heal him (I'm a master medic too ... at the moment). Because his health is so low.
Mostly the 'commercial' level 10's that I make are 2300 health and 30-185 damage. They are quick and easy to make (ha! - easiest thing i make and it still takes 15 minutes for every single one - i timed it and that includes getting all the DNA) ... and seem more well rounded than the high damage ones.
What health are you getting on your high damage 10's please?

Yeah, I still don't use any set recipes so my results vary greatly, I'm not that great at hitting lvl 10 on the nose yet. My healths are very low, for the high damage ones, around800-900 or so. For these I'm just kind of betting that something will be outdamaging the pet so it won't be taking it damage. The lvl 8 I mentioned is only like 700 health.
I do make some higher health and regen ones, just not as many. I've always been more intersted in damage over defense.
I'll make a set of damage creatures tonight. Maybe I'll post some of my better results.

as you continue on towards master, you will see fewer and fewer 'sample-kills'. you WILL, however, crit-fail for aggro on samples more often.

Ok, well I finally made a set of creatures and I retract my statement aboutthinking I couldhit 300 damage. 240 damage remains the highest I can hit with a lvl 10. It may be possible to hit the 260 mark if you could try and zero all the other stats, but I don't want to do that.
To that note I finally see thepurpose of using generational dna, I ended up with some teen level pets that had pretty decent damage on them using that technique. I'm going to try and refine my technique a little more now. If anything surprising comes up (likesqueezing in some more damage)I'll post about it.
