I was looking at Test Center board and here is some pretty bad new for us, Bio...

For the mounts, you can tame any of the 6 creatures listed in the wild. Maybe if they decided to use Bio pets only for mount, our pets could have been usefull for something...

And, worst of all, you will have to be MASTER CH to train a pet as a mount!

Q-3P0: Hey I know, lets make it so that people have to all be the same classes. If people want to be effective CHs, they need to be BEs, and vice versa.

Too bad we don't have a correspondent right now. No one is going to listen to us when we point out that BE's are screwed again.

Things to notice on the TC boards:

1) Male Kaadu and Mountain Dewbackas a player mounts. We can only make regular kaadus and dewbacks. Which have 1/2 the HAM of CH pets. Once again CH can tame a better mount than we can make. My question is: Why do we care about mount HAM? Can they fight? Do mobs hit them when we flee on them?

3) People riding on Humbabas. CH get to tame mounts we can't make, but we can't make mounts they can't find as babies.

4)The Master CH's on Test are busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking constest. This is because only Masters can "mountify" a pet. Which means that there is too much pet creation capacity from CH and BE creating pets. In economics terms - overcapacity means no profit. Once again. BE's make no money.

I hope variants aren't included... we're 100% sunk if they are options for mounts.

Honestly, if this goes through in its current form, we should really just ask for pet creation to be taken away. Give us metalurgy or something that could be useful. This is rediculous.

It is my assumption that the creatures will not target the mount.

Many of the Master CH's are filthy rich and will not be motivated to train mounts unless there is some substantial money in it and even then they will tire quickly. How many Master CH's do you know that travel around with their "Master CH" showing? They have limited capacity to hold extra Pets. A pet has to be full grown before you can tame it.

What CL is our Kaduu? I heard like CL 5

I bet female Kaduus in the wild are higher, males higher yet. Which means that the total pet levels will be more compromised with the wild version

Carrior Spat is CL 10 and not a good choice for that reason I assume.

Bols, at like CL 30. Only a nut would want unless the pet actually gets hit. The Bols in the wild have armor I think. Like 9500 ham. This would mean that if you use a Bol, you can not use a Rancor or Gurreck because of needed "pet levels".

Kaduus run at "burst run" speed. They swim as fast.

I had a Carrion Spat as a pet. He was very fast, and got into fight instantly, very aggressive and tough.

Bols don't have babies, far as I know. At least I've never seen one. Offcourse, their cloning is bugged... And none but Ch's can use them anyway. Which means that the one? mountable creature we can make, is goint to sell maybe once or twice if we're lucky. As stated above, why would they want a pet that is slower and uses up additional CL as well? I know I'll be using a Kaadu.
