Thanks for the response, makes me feel better. I got a response from someone that made me think I bought a hood ornament rather than a good pet this morning.

I bought a BE rancor yesterday not really knowing what it was. It ended up in my inventory rather than in my data pad. I have a couple of questions. The pet has that it is tameable from my inventory, what level Ch will I have to be to use this, I'm thinking 4,4,0,0 at least.

Is it useable? Or is this not going to actually work and I wasted my money?

BE rancors are indeed tamable. You need +50 max level of pet and +50 max number of pet levels minimum. This means you need 4/4/4/0 or 4/4/0/4 or higher. You get +50 max level of pet from taming 4. You get +45 max number of pet levels from Training 4, +5 each from Empathy 4 and Management 4.
