-My holocron told me that i need to become master BE. I've been playing mostly a combat character so not sure how to level up a master BE. Anyone can point me to a good guide or website about the BE profession? Thx in advance for your responses.

If you browse this forum you'll find some great macros for grinding BE. Make tons of green powder in the little green coffee pot in practice mode. You get more points for practice. You'll need lots of meat and flora but you can run destroy missions killing animals and harvest their meat. You get paid for the resource. Don't worry about the special ingredients or hard to find resources. Just make lots of coffee pots, a little over 4000 should do it.

You'll need DNA xp which you don't get through crafting. You need to create a macro /sampledna since there isn't one already available. You can run around the city yard like a noob and sample every yard trash animal you come across (yes people do this) or you can go to one of the adventure planets and sample uber critters. You get a lot more points for the high level critters and its a lot more fun. If you take critter missions and sample the critters at the mission waypoint you'll get paid for your time and trouble. If you're not interested in actually selling animals you can grind out eopies by the trillion. Don't worry about the sample stats. Just put them in a slot and click create protype. I think you can do this in practice mode as well and get points.

Remember, LOTS of meat and flora. You can actually be a master bio-engineer and not have any idea what the profession is about this way

Now thats out of the way. You start needing to get O Chem 4 in the medic line and hunting 4 in the scout line. This is just a grind. Always harvest meat and horde it ALL. Get every friend you have to go hunting with you and give you their meat. While your doing this line up a good supplier of meat. Its actually quite possible to get all your meat by hunting with friends. However it takes about 63,000 units of meat to get to Master BE using micronturient supplement. Get some medium/heavy floras as it takes about 147,000 units of flora to Master BE. (The flora is the easy bit) This means you'll either need to pick up artisan/survey or get a friend to help. Find a good macro, you'll need to make about 4200 micronutrient supplies to make master. The last line you need to pick up is DNA Sample. I'd actually start with this one as it can get you killed quite easily and the cost for dying may be going up soon. You can either sample yard trash (the blue conns around cities) or get some mission and sneak up on them and sample them. (More XP for the second, more money as well, aslo more likely to get you killed)Create a mcro for /sampledna. (They don't provide one) Get many crates full of muon gold or K-18 rations andmove you stats around to focus on mental forawhile. (Willpower etc)Sneak up on your intended victim. Ideally you want the range to read 0m. Hit your sample macro, hold down the shift key and manually follow your victim if they move. (/follow like to keep you at 5-10m which is much to far away) Some people swear the holding a gun negatively impacts your chances. Personally I find range to be the only thing that matters. Try a little of each and pick your own superstition. You'll either succeed, fail or get aggrod. If you get aggrod you first clue will be getting hit. I'd suggest burst run at this point, if you have the action/mind left to do it. (And assuming you not puking your guts out, that spice will get you killed boys and girls) Personally I like to sample the picket longhorns on Dantoinne, but they seem to have made your chance of succes depend on skill vs CL, so you may have to be at least Sample 2 to play with those. Good luck to you.

If you have all the resources for grinding at your disposal then I think you could grind out all the crafting exp needed in under 8 hours (depends on your patience, fortitude )

DNA sampling exp is tough but I think you might just do this inside a week?

If you sample big critters exclusively, you can power thru DNA Sampling faster. Like fambaa on Naboo (which I did early on) or go to an advanced planet and pull missions for something large and non-aggressive that doesn't deathblow. Clone yourself on the planet where you're doing it, as recommended elsewhere, and keep in mind that you need to use the DNA samples and put them into templates or your inventory gets full fast. At that point, if you can find another bio-engineer to trade templates with, you could make the clones from each other's templates and get a little use xp.
