Thread: Abnormally high failure rate for Master

So I decided to test out the system using low level DNA around my home city. Especially since my client is crashing roughly every 30 minutes since the patch. I'm using my good cloning materials (900+ tubers and 900+ insect meat). I'm using +15 craftingtool and a droid with a crafting station built in built for me by my guilds premiere droid engineer.Anyway I decided to make some vir-vur's using giant sand beetles. First attempt critically failed on the final combine. Second attempt critically failed on the DNA combine. Third attempt critically failed on the final combine. Fourth attempt critically failed on the final combine. Fifth attempt critically failed on final combine. At this point I stopped using the good insect meat and the static spawn of the sand beetles seemed to have run out so I switched to Dragonnets. Next attempt a kimo, succeeded but the kinetic resist was only 19% (not the 25% I'd expected). Then a vir-vur having succeeded at something else. It worked but once again a lower than expected resist. Critically failed on the next DNA combine. Switched back to the Giant Sand beetles because theyhad spawned again. Made awoolamander and a snorbal out of mixed sand beetle and dragonnet DNA. I have been doing the old point by point experimentation on the templates. I've noticed that some times a great success has a good change in the stat. Some times it only effects the outcome by 0-1%. This despite having several boxes of experimentation left to do on that stat. I also seem to get 2 failures or critical failures on every template. This is a 20% failure ratefor experimentation by a master. Its also a 4 out of 4 (Admittedly not a huge sample set) of failure when using 900+ ingredients and a 20% failure rate on DNA template combinations.

I got incapped by spice fiends once that jumped me along with a few desert demons. I wasn't as upset at the fact that i was incapped as much as I was nervous that someone saw me. I quickly did a mouse look, and gave a quick scan of the radar. How embarrassing. That's why I laughed, it was a better story when I thought the evil hermit got ya.

I made I think a total of 6 or 7 creatures last night, 2 low level ones and 5 high level ones. I had one crit failure on the dna combine and 1 crit failure during experientation (the result was a HILAROUS Dewback with like 8k HAM and only doing 30 points of damage, rofl).

I critical fail a lot if there is a lot of lag. I noticed I failed sampling DNA a lot more yesterday than I ever have before. When I succeeded the animal more often than not aggro'd on me (no my inventory wasn't full). I critical failed on a template then lost DNA because an evil hermit attacked me.

Haha Spaz, you got killed by and evil hermit. That's funny.

p.s. Sorry, my point related to the original post was that I also crit failed on my first attempt to make a clone since patch. Seemed normal to me, but I was also in the middle on no where on Endor by myself, so no lag at all.

LOL! I never said I was killed. I just got attacked.
