Thread: Why a do MCH think this is hurting them, money wise

I think MCH's that think the changes made to BE hurt there wallets, need to look at this from a different angle.

All those non CH pets people need to do missions can now be found in a mount as well. With our ability to make very good CL10 pets that are mountable, your going to have people coming to you to mount them.

sure non Ch's can keep scout and pop camps to change out creatures every time they want to fight or change back into that vehicle that is degrading everytime you call it. But really, This is a pain in the butt.

So who is going to make my lvl 10 spat with 6k ham and a ranged attack, mountable???? Well I am not a MCH so I guess I have to bring it to one of you MCHs. As those mounts get damaged, people will want to get another mount, so they buy another one from us BEs and take it to one of you MCHs for mounting. We both make money off this. This actually brings money into your pocket, as long as you work together with the BEs that are out there. It has given more to the economy as a whole then taken away from it. Yeh you might have to pay me 100k for the super cool lvl 30 pet with tons of resists, but you still get to make money off of others since people will start using there mounts more as Battle pets as well. Heh you couldnt mount a cowardly gurrack right? but before the patch we used them, just had to trade it out in a camp with our mount. Now you can make a lvl 10 Creature that smokes a Cowardly gurrack and can be riden as a mount. As those mounts fight, they will degrade and a new mount will have to be bought. See my point here.

I would think it is a great change for BEs and CHs alike. I really don't get what all the nerf cries are about. Anyways we have a master BE that is apart of our town, but he is quitting the profession soon, to do the jedi hunt I think. I am not a CH but I would like to see a ranged attacking pink rancor.

I was eventually planning on passing on to something else after BE, I still have 6 boxes till master, but I think with this new system I might find master BE a bit hard to give up...

I agree with CorporateDan...i'm ready and willing to pay all it takes to get the pets i'm dying for. I'm working on ordering a CL 55+ godly cat, and 2 of the CL 35 cats w/light armor. I saw the post of lvl 20 dewbacks with AR1...so i may even order 3 of those in RazorCat skin.

Well, I used to be able to make money selling pets like toxic merek battlelords and gaping spider hunters. I am not a very powerful combat class yet, so I can only do destroy missions that pay 1k-2k amission unless I want to spend 15-20 minutes on each mission (then I can get 3-4k a mission).I can do artisan or delivery for that much so why do destroy? Now I have to beg to get 20kwhen selling aTMB, andthe only ones that can use itare almost MCH.... and will go catch their own because they are as broke as I am. I get maybe one person a week asking for a mount, and I am lucky if I can charge 3k. I would love to supportBio-engineered and buy from them (because face it, a level 27 pet that is as powerful as my level 45 TMB is awesome) but it would take me forever to save up 40k now, if Ican find a good BE pet for that price.

So if you can't beat em join em. I am working my way up bio-engineer now. I am quickly running out of money as a ch and I have to pay for my house and vehicle.

MCH are not overly happy because there is zero market for wild creatures now, they all suck eggs, even the rare ones. Some delusionally happy CH likes the changes because he tamed a super rare merek which has light armour, 10% resists and average ham. Whoopie do. As a pet it stinks, who cares how rare it is?

A BE can make a level 20 kaadu that will kick the bejesus out of a level 60 wild creature. Now if you think that is right then nothing I say is going to change your mind. The only good thing being a CH is to just make mounts out of BE pets? That is as idiotic as having BE's just make mounts for CHs. There is no money it, there is no fullfilment in it, there is no respect, challenge or glory. It is just garbage.

I wish all the BE's the best of luck, its nice to have the functional toys at last. But it has come at a high price and the profession might have finally risen above that of the CH to be the nerf of the month profession. Time will tell, I retired my master CH a while ago. The writting was on the wall.

We all knew it was only a matter of time until they kept nerfing until there was no more, i think this patch is just about it. Unfortunately with CH out of the way they will be 'balancing' the next flavour of the month, and I've seen the number of BE's jump ten fold during the period this patch was on TC.

But, until then I am looking for a BE to make me a level 10 pet that isnt a complete joke. My rock beetle was traded in and turned into some garbage krevol with 900ham and no stats. Even my probot was nerfed... whats up with that?
