Thread: New BE with a question
Ok, before I get flamed...I've read many of the FAQ's, many pages of the forums, but I just don't understand the layout when creating the genetic templates.
Prowess and Physique...are these the only 2 that really make up the creature? When inserting the DNA, which slot determines what special attacks the creature gets? And the last question, typical I'm sure, which tree is suggested to go up first? I'm currently at 1/0/1/1. Is the CE tree worth going up first although I can't tame half of the creatures I can create or should i go up the Eng Tech line first so I can create a better monster?

i don't have an answer to your question but do you know where the BE trainers are on bloodfin? specifcally naboo
Check swg.stratics.com for specific locations. I know that there is one next to the bank in Coronet, Corellia.
I'd check out Sumorex guide for the complete upto what we know data. Essense is as follows.
10 Stats coming in 5 pairs. Initial DNA insertion order into those 5 slots/pairs have only a weightedoutcome on the final value of the 10 attributes. So What I mean by this is that fortitude for instance seems to be evenly weighted for the the 5 physical effects physical the most and mental the least. Order of preference for each going from sample/slot to initial DNA template combine is
Physical -> physical(40%), prowess(25%), aggression(17%), psychological(9%), mental(5%) += 96%
Prowess -> prowess(42%), physical(25%), aggression(16%), mental(10%) psychological(5%) += 98%
Mental -> mental(50%), psychological(26%), prowess(17%), aggression(8.5%), physical(5%) += 106.5%
Psychological -> psychological(43%), mental (30%), aggression(16.5%), prowess(8.5%), physical (5%) += 103%
Aggression -> aggression (42%), physical (25%), psychological (17%), prowess (7.5%), mental (5%) += 96.5%
What this mean is that physical, prowess and agression which make up 90% of the resistance profile for your creature, contribute less to the final stats than mental psych. Specifically the formula for resists is physical 40%, prowess 25%, mental 5%, psychological 5%, agression 25%. Note that special protection over-ride on a resist causes effective protection to be ignored in the calculation. Watch out for trying to stat load to much into mental/psychological because the statsphysical/prowess/aggression do influence alot are the ones you more likely to care about. Also mental is believed to strongly influence whether ranged attack comes through. Mental/psychological/aggression seem to have a strong influence on what special attacks come through. Also remember than mental effects toHit which is a big deal for both damage dealing and the ability for a creature to hold aggro. Basically its a largebalancing act to get what you want and that before we work out how CL is determined.
BE trainer in Theed...you exit the starport, run pass the fountain, towards the shuttleport, on your way to the flesh eating chuba/spiner flaps/dieseased nuna playground, and he/she's in the fenced area.
