Thread: DEVS it has been 2 days! Is this clone system BUGGED, EXPLOIT or FINE as IS? GIVE US A HINT!
Ok DEVS, you have been back from vacation at LEASt 2 days.
JUST give us a simple comment about the BE clones, are they bugged? is it an exploit? or are they doing fine?
1 hour of playtime with a pet should determine this.
END THIS STUPID DEBATE NOW DEVS, PLEASE!!!!!!
Just give us the final verdict and THEN you can try to fix it or not.
From past experiances with the devs, silence usually translates into:
We know its an exploit, if we come out and say it then everyone will hurry up and do it. So instead we will silently fix it and then tell them after.
So I wouldnt expect to get a confirmation as much as them just fixing it as soon as they can and THEN telling you it was an exploit that was fixed.
Dude, just use a little common sense.
Do you really think a CL2 creature with 10k HAM, 50% Kinetic resists, spitting strong poison, is normal?
There is no debate. You aren't THAT 733T.

some of these creatures aren't cl 2 w/ 10k HAM. some are cl10, 8k/5k/4k, 1rst gen w/ 24% resists. or even 4k/3k/2k, some are cl 25 light armor, 60% kin, and so on.
Nice to see someone else realises that JiveTime ![]()
Thats been my biggest concurn about this whole thing so far. That ALL Bio critters will be effected (like no AR1 on sub 35-40 pets), not just the"super10's"...
CL 70 Kimo's could be illegal too, who knows until a dev says something. Ditto with Merek Death Heads generationed down to lvl 15 with 570 attack damage... those didn't use the bug but are they ok? Will they be nerfed?
We have a few prime issues here:
1) The Dath lizard bug - ok or not? (we already know the answer on this one)
2) Vulnerabilities DNA lowers the CL - ok nor not?
3) Sampling multi-generations of clones lowers CL - ok or not?
4) Custom-made specials and resists stay with multi-generations (thus a lvl 10 with strong poison) - ok or not?
5) Existing clones made with methods 1-4 = to be deleted, adjusted or left alone? (ala Pre-Nerf Probots)

They definitely got super-bunnies. ![]()
And Kavedawg spoke out about the CL being too low in another thread:
"When the Armor rating is dropped while combining samples with an armor rating, all resistances will be increased but the CL of the end clone will be off a tad here is the data from my combines."
"More BE clones, I made a second clone using a non armor sample for physique, There was not a jump in the resistances, but the CL still seems lower than what it should be"
And Thunderheart marked the bug as being reported at the bottom of that thread.
Ibont,
You use a poor excuse for your reference? Sterhoids? These are a banned substance by just about all major sports. If you're caught with them in the US, it is punishable by jail time.
Actually, now that I think about it, your excuse was not poor, it was right on in terms of how I feel about these type of creatures. It's like doping a pet (an illegal action).

LOL, if they thought pets like that were (gasp) somewhat balanced, they wouldn't have changed the whole system and every wild creature in the game to eliminate the possibility of non ch's getting pets that can tank all but the highest level creatures in the game.
But, by refusing to comment on the subject in spite of about a thousand posts on the topic in two weeks, as far as I'm concerned the devs have made clear that they don't care enough to call it an exploit, so go ahead and make them all you want.
If everyone in the game is supposed to be able to get a tank like this, it trivializes the entire game. There is no challenge in 95% of the things people fight when everyone has a 7K. 45% resist pet, there is no danger, there is no risk. CH is still broken this way, and probably always will be so long as pets have 10X the health of players. In the end, the whole way pets are used in this game is broken, and maybe the devs know this well enough such that having an even more broken pet just isn't a big enough deal to be worth the effort to tell people that making them is considered an exploit.
