Thread: a suggestion for pet making until they mend the system

it seems to be that its the special protection resists which are broken.

i also guess that any creature which did have armour pre Cu will have the 1000 Fortitude stat

so: searching on SWG creatures for all NON -SP resists and no armour gives the following (extract)

Merek deaths head
Kamurith snapper
Mountian squill
piket

(there are more but these should be pretty easy to find)

I intend to try to find these and see what the DNA is like. - any suggestions?

You've probably figured this out already but the 1000 on fortitude doens't seem to come from the animal. Or if it does, and is part of the 'animals' armor - then it is new armor and not old armor. Our equations that make the pets still deal with 'old armor' and we are trying to throw 'new armor' dna in and that's why we get medium/light armor and 100+ pets ...


Just my thoughts but i guess what I'm saying is that 'new armor' is seen in your combat queue verbose as 'the rill's armor absorbs 50 of a possible 180 damage' <--- clearly a mad example - rills still don't have armor but many animals that did not before ... now show armor when you hit them .. and have fortitude above 500.


Which is why when you sample many animals (including those on your list), they now have fortitude of 1000.


(my 2 credits of thought - i base this only on what i have seen - dor)

well

mountain squill DNA has 1000 fort as well

I collected some samples of the above, decided to give it a go to see what happened. I crit failed and lost them all
