Thread: Post CU pets

With the changes to how the CL of a mob is done, how is this going to affect pets?

Are non-CH pets limited to CL10 still? (does the old CL 10 have any relationship to a post CU CL10?)

How about CH's? What are their limits on CL? Is it still CL70? Are rancors and kimo's CL70?

What about sampling? When a BE goes out to sample, can we still sample a CL70 mob? What is a CL 70 post CU? Since Lok and Dath haven't been balanced yet, there's no real way to check this part yet

When are they going to get the DNA fixed for us to craft pets?

I believe the answer to this is now 80 (I'll confirm that). To the rest of your questions: no clue yet. These are things I'm anxious to test myself, but two things need to happen first:

a) they need to balance the pets on the "adventure planets"

b) they need to fix the obvious problems in the dna

Otherwise we're just spinning our wheels.

Voritor Dashers are CL78 on TCEp3. I had 30 attempts and all failed. Died 3 times too as they keep incapping me as soon as I stood.

Currently on TCEp3, all creatures CL20 + have 1000 fortitude so they come out with AR2 and CL levels in the 100s with or without experimentating.

I've had some luck with
CL4-6
CL>50
CL14-20
Cl14-20
CL>50

example:
Nightspider
BMB
Peko Peko
Peko Peko
BMBQ (these are not agro anymore)

I've been using so many different dna samples that I figured I wouldn't keep track until they fixed the DNA. Most of the time these show only one box for phys experimentation. However, you can put in all 10 exp points in to that one box thing and it doesn't max out. Kinda wierd.

These templates hit around CL14. Stats vary with experimentation. With mind and action not getting hit in combat, and specials not working yet, I've only been experimenting Phys and agro. Need to experiment with CH to see if anything else is worth experimenting on. Mainly for a better hit ratio for now.

Through much multi generational sampleing Ive been able to get fortitude down to 230 and keep power in the 300s, although hardiness is around 80........... I guess I'll go poke some lvl 14-20 critters and see what I can do with that.

Well as we all know the CU has royally screwed things over. So in the spirit of cooperation lets try and help each other out and post our new schems for pets.

Currently i'm using Bull Bantha mereks and gurrecks to make CL22-24ish Cats with around 5k hp and 250-280 max damage.

I'm still trying to play around with sampling and find a good strand for a cl 60-70ish with good hp/damage on it.
