Thread: Kind of a very weird recipe for level 9/10 pets with 4K health post-CU

Up your combat level - mine was 46 at the time i did this. Take matriarch bantha missions on Tattoine. Sample the Bull Banthas that result. They will have hardiness of around 300. Combine 5 bull bantha samples into a template and push the physique to the max, agression to the max and if necessary polish off the psych with one point to push that stat below 1000.
Put into the skin of your choice. I tried a vir vur and it came out level 9 so that is the 'base' level of this pet. This works b/c the bull bantha DNA has a native fortitude of about 0 and pulling the mission with level 46 critters pushes their hardiness up and that will come out in your pet.
Obviously this will work for many many different donor animals ... this is just one example ... (note yes it does work with the broken DNA samples with the 0( values.

Can you get their level up to 80? or is 46 the mission cap since its a starter planet?

If everything is working properly on the mission terms - you can certainly get level 80's spawning - my friends have done level 81 banthas and dewbacks like that i know. I'm still much lower level of course and don't like to go sampling with other people - hence the 46 - which is what my combat level was at the time.
Since we are not allowed to sample level 80's,it would be silly to get them to spawn like that, but I realize you are asking from the point of view of a uber-combat person now who won't be sampling DNA ![]()
