Just making 100% sure...Medicine Exp. tapes now help with BE medicine tree of crafting?

yep

medicine exp and assembly work for everything in BE now, not CM exp though so be careful

Hmm...then what about pets?
I noticed that BE Exp. has been totally wiped out of BE trees...

so, is it reasonable to expect that at some point in the (hopefully) not too distant future, that accumulated BE-crafting xp will be converted to Med-crafting xp?

I would consider it reasonable to expect, but then again I found it reasonable to assume that CM experimentation tapes get changed into medical experimentation tapes, knowing that CMs spent a lot of money on them and it seemed unfair to me to just tell them that they spent it for nothing.
So dont hold your breath, my bet is you would have a blue face for too long.

They currently enhance a skill that is not used anymore, so they are worthless, yes.

I think there is a new one called Combat Medicine Effectiveness that works...or am i wrong? My Nyax necklace that had combat med mod was converted to this I believe.

The Nyax Necklace is the _only_ skill enhancing item that got converted during CU. It changed from "Combat Medicine Effectiveness" to "Chemical Warfare Efficiency".
