Thread: +17/17 Tensile Resistence anyone done this on live server?

I was experimenting to see how good I could get my Tensile Resistence tissues for melee/ranged defence clothing. I had heard that a BE on my server had used resource deeds and still only capped at 16/16. I heard that 17/17s had been crafted on Test Center too.
I didn't pay attention to my assembly roll, but ended up getting 17/17 on my TR. I cannot replicate this and can't hit it again even using better resources.
Has ANYONE else been able to do this?
I'm thinking I must have gotten a "critical assembly" on my roll. It's the only explanation I can come to.
Was I lucky? Am I missing something? Did I craft the uncraftable?

I haven't been able to hit +17, but I hit +16 rather easy. No one seems to be able to answer the question about whether it is random or preset. So I really don't know. I am here looking for an answer to that question as well.

Tensile Resistance seems to be capped at 17 with perfect resources. I assume you were using really good resources, yes?
What probably happened is that you got a critical success on assembly which boosted the potential cap. Since you were using good resources for a +16 tissue, it let you reach +17.
It will be very difficult to replicate this as these do not occur very often. To my knowledge, this is the only time anyone has made a tissue that hit the cap, with the exception of the one day crafting revamp.

That's what absolutely blew my mind when I was crafting.. the milk wasn't that good. I switched over to my best meat to try and get +16 rather then the +14 I kept hitting. Didn't notice my assembly roll... but BAM... 17/17 after experimentation. I only wish I was using my good milk

The 13+13 is true... but TBH, LOTS of people don't wear more then one item of clothing. I know I wear armor pants, so having better mods on 1 item is great. Also, when I do wear pants, I like to have camo/mask scent bonuses for my rangerlyness... 13+13 works, but not for everyone.

it all caps at 25 with 2 peices of clothing anyways so i don't worry about getting more than +13.
hard part is getting people to believe us when the stats on your skill mods show the bonus.
I have made +16 though before for people who only can wear 1 peice of clothing with bonus, but no 17 (yet).
