Thread: How much XP are you getting?
Just out of interest...
I search for the biggest, non-aggro creatures I can find. I have been to a number of planets but I was suprised to het 400+ DNA sampling XP from a Sharnaff Bull of Corellia.
I am currently at DNA Sampling I.
What are other people getting and what creatures are you having the most success with?
Personally, I really LOVE exploring the galaxy for creatures to sample from. Its an awesome excuse to see the galaxy with my non-combat character. Anyone found interesting places to explore while you DNA sample?
A few places that I found interesting were also some of the more dangerous places to go.
Dathomir (although dark, foreboding, and creepy, has quite a few sites to see. North of the trade outpost, follow the river west, and eventually you'll come across a modern miracle of Force construction. The bridge spanning the river is massive, and has interesting floating parts that you can't even push an inch! I wandered upon it while I wassampling DNA from all types of baz nitches.
Endor has a number of places to locate while you are searching for creatures to gather DNA from. Ever see the Mantigrues fight amongst one another? Man those are some aggressive creatures if they are fighting a close by rival nest! Just watch out for the diseases they carry . . .
Naboo has some absolutely lovely scenery, and a plethora of natural wonders to discover. Ancient history of a time when the old republic still held power. It may not be one of the best places to learn the intricacies of DNA sampling, but it sure can be a pleasant place to practice it on.
Tatooine holds one of the most diverse assortment of creatures I think I have found. Where else can you come across an animal that actually eats their own kin? There are a number of places you could visit there too, while collecting your DNA samples. I've heard tell of a huge lizard hiding away in the far regions of this planet that continues to grow for as long as it lives. Imagine if you could somehow sneak up on one of these dragons and manage to extract a sample of DNA as old as Yoda?! It would be "Krayt" . . . *cough*
In any case, don't forget to pack your sunblock.
These are just a few of my favorite places to gather DNA. I've already mastered DNA sampling long before I've even come even close to learning the most basic skills elsewhere in the BE field. I hope this helps some, and if anyone else knows of some good sights, I too would be interested in learning more.
