Thread: Deed questions from a decorator...

I was wondering if bio engineers can still make deeded creatures with custom names to be placed inside a building. If so, is the size smaller due to no experience gained yet by the creature? If I have a bio engineer make me three bantha deeds to drop in my basement, will the poor creatures look just like a real bantha..??
And I know this is a stretch, but can you still make a creature with the disease attribute the way you used to... adding the disease special attack DNA to the special attack slot (which I am sure does no longerexists)??
Sorry for the silly questions, but I want to know if my BE creature deeds should come with me when I pack for my server change, or if I should just remake them all by another BE once I arrive at my new server. I wonder if creature deeds will even make the trip over with me....
Hiya ... moving is SUCH fun ![]()
BE's can still make deeded creatures with custom names. They still drop with the 'default' size - ie. new bantha will look like old bantha when the deed is dropped. (as you are aware, size is an issues with BE pets but that doesn't happen until they are tamed). Multiple lines on deed names is possible as well.
You cannot now make a creature with any special attributes such as disease, poison, etc.

Thank you very much Dorelli for all the clear information. As it is, this is a very stressfulordeal just to prepare for the server change... I can only hope the process goes smoothly. I have some diseased veermoks I knew would not be replicable, but wanted to be sure before I carry them with me to my new home. As a creature handler, bringing just my deeded animals and not being able to transfer my own pack is killing me... I have had a bantha with me for over two years now. I hope it is all worth it...
a month or so after the CURB, i did make a few pets using old DNA, and the special abilities did stick. In fact, they did so post-tame, as well, i just can't access them.
has this changed, too? if not, i suppose it is possible to track down a stubborn BE that held onto old DNA samples.
I might as well carry the veermoks with me then.
There may be no stubborn bio-engineers where I arrive....
