Thread: Med shortage? Anyone have this happen?

Make of run of bacta meds and stims, takes 5days
Put meds on vendor, vendor sells out in 5 days


Make larger run of bacta meds and stims, takes 7 days
Put meds on vendor at higher price, vendor sells out in 3 days


Drop more factories
Make and even larger run of meds, takes 7 days
Put meds on vendor at prices you think no one will pay, vendor sells out in 4 days!!!

I don't quite have that problem, but I started out with 12 factories running stims and switched them over to chef tissues. I find that I still have trouble allocating factories to the various products and have to anticipate the demand coming my way. That means that stims kind of take a backseat for a while as I beef up my tissue stock.


Of course, my biggest problem right now is that I have so many hunters out collecting the spawns I need long-term that I am constantly riding the poverty line. I am very well off in terms of my resource assets, but my cash position isn't quite what I would like. I seem to recall being in this same position pre-CU when I was running my med shop. I guess it is just something that I will have to deal with...

I've placed 1450+ enhanced stims on my vendor just to show them off, priced at 250K thinking no one would buy them...they all sold within a week. /shrug Some people just have too much money

moral of the story... if you're showing off, price 'em at a mil.

LOTS of players have too much money... most servers have seen inflation that would make economists choke (or at least blush) over the last two years. there's no shame in selling products for more than you value them... the 'market price' of anything is determined more by the seller than the buyer (no matter what you WANT them to pay, they'll pay what they'll pay... and what they'll pay doesn't always, or often, make sense).

I have 4 factories dedicated to making stim-Ds (3 component & 1 stim) & 5 factories dedicated to making chef tissues. As long as I keep them running I'm usually ok. I do seem to run out of stims pretty quick thou. 1175ish / 19 uses for 175k/crate of 25. Now that tailor tissues are working again, I have a few more factories that I can use just for those. (yes I have access to a lot of factories, no I'm not in a player city, no I'm not really in a guild, yes they are all near my shop)


I just got my 2nd jedi and have made a second toon to be a crafter. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about factories for making foods lol. At least I have a bunch of wearables factories that are just sitting around waiting for me to finish grinding tailor

The sub components for meds takes way to long to cook. If you sell out on something, it takes 3-4 days to restock. I don't have that many lots for food & chem factories so if I cook meds, I'm not cooking food or drinks.. so there's always a shortage on one or the other.. ^_^
