Thread: BE/CH template, should I do it?

well, lets start off with some background first....I used my token respec to get BE / Chef, I didn't like having both so I dropped Chef for Rifles and am currently BE / Rifles, Phase 1 plant quest is coming up so I'm going to have to drop a significant amount of rifles for master medic, and before i'm told, i know the plant fruit is bugged but I don't care 
I don't think I'm going to want to re-grind all that rifles with the new xp system but I just browsed through the CH forums and they got hit bad with the xp nerf too
a few questions to help get constructive replies...
how is ch xp, slow and hard, like the rest of the combat professions?
will my pets do a significant amount of damage so I can only heal and still be able to harvest resources off creatures or will I need to group with a friend?
I know this is not the best forum to put this in, but I just want to see if any BE / CH read this

i picked up be/ch with a respec , in my opinion yes the exp is like anyother combat profession , and it seems the creatures either have high dmg or high def altho im still tryin to figue outthe dna thing so ya...im droppin it as soon as i unlock my 6th tree

I'm debating the same thing. I am MBE with some artisan and tk mixed in. I've been debating between chef and ch and it really comes down to this:
Can my pets do all the fighting for me? From what I understand....when you heal them...they immediately agro you. If I stay on my bike, can I avoid the 1 hit incaps from no defenses of my own?

i am currently MBE MCH Merchant 3.0.0.1 i chose this template for the cl 54 or 57 don't remember. I'm BE because i enjoy crafting pets the mbe mch template allows me to sell pets also. The level 70 pets give me protection from cl75 mobs when i am sampling DNA. They have also gave me time to get away from level 85 night sisters.

i'm that temp to, only thing bad about it is its hard to tame pets when your only lv 50ish

xp is back to 'normal' so I don't know what I'll do with that character now hehe
I think I am just going to think about a template... maybe still CH... i hate making pets and thinking to myself "damn, how good is this pet...." the only good health levels I know are 3k for a CL 10
eitherway, I think I am eventually making both characters into jedi if I can do that
