I've got a food/chem crafting kit at a Theed crafting station, and I can only make up to Pet Stim Bs. I'm a master (haven't done anything with it yet). I'm dumb... help!

ok so youve got the food/chem crafting kit... you sure you were near a food/chem crafting station (big white/silver thing with a green screen and blinkies)? you should get all the schematics if you did.

you could invest in your own personal crafting station or better yet, buy a droud with the station in it. the droids are a very good companion out in the field

I have a droid, and oddly enough, he works but the city one does not.

more than likely the stuff you want to craft needs a private crafting station which is what the droid is.

I can't remember the at which level complexity you need the personal but it's somewhere around the 20 mark, basically it goes something like this:

The low level stuff that doesn't need experimenting on can be made with the crafting tool

Medium items or low level stuff which you want to experiment on needs a chemcrafting tool and you need to stand next to the chemical crafting station in a town or city

The high complexity stuff can only be made with the chem crafting tool and a personal crafting station or as you've found out, a droid.

BTW I belive the public crafting stations on Endor,Dant and Yavin are actually private crafting stations...which is nice

Hope that helps.
