I'm sure if I sacrificed kinetic I could get this lower, but not much. Also the fortutide on final experiment was about 532 so I could shave 32 off there also.

Still, I think this is pretty close to the low end for Light Armor. If you buffed this pet's action, it might be useful...

Just curious to see if anyone has beat this in terms of lower CL with armor manifesting.

In case the link above doesn't work stats are:

CL16

8181 health

1503 action

2706 mind

60% kinetic, all else vuln

Light armor

1.99 speed

0.2 to hit

30-40 damage

Dizzy Special

Ranged = N

Nice creation.

Don't think I'd want to try to do something like that, musta been a pain for the generations getting a low attack on an armored pet.

Lowest I got was CL23 AR1 60Kin.

Could you lower the health rating to get some CL room? I miss my old gronda. He had light armor and about 5000 health. Of course, he was CL18 at the time.

He had to experiment on Phys to get the fortitude above 500, so thats probably the min health he could get since Phys exp also bumps hardiness.

I was thinking after I posted this that if you got the right set of critical failures - like the perfect storm - you might hit 15. What you would need is:

-Critical failure experimenting physique that brought the hardiness down but kept the fortitude at 500+

-Critical failure that dropped power to 1

If you had those two plus kept the other stats low, you might be able to get a 2k/2k/2k pet with armor @ CL15. Such a rare result though, it would just have to happen. I'd never try to do it intentionally.

That one looks interesting and Armor at CL 16 is quite an achievement, but as a fighing pet it would be almost unusable; the poor thing would be incapped on action all the time.

I'm finding that the tradeoff with lower stats on action and mind is very much larger than I expected to see, as the creatures do a much wider range of attacks, and hit the action or especially the mind pool very often. Looking at the results with some of my own creations, I am finding that action at 85% of health, and mind at 65-70% seems to come up with a better tank than a very high health and weak action/mind pools. Since pet stims heal all 3 pools, I can have more "room" to take damage if I do not have too significant a weakness in any one pool.

So, as I said, Armor and 60% Kinetic at CL 16 is an amazing achievement, but I would have to see how well this pet could be kept fighing and what the healing demands are before passing final judgement. Either way, you have certainly stretched the boundaries of our profession with this one.

Rangers eat these up. Apparently a lot of 'em go with a template that lets them use up to lvl 19 pets.

This is the lowest cl armored pet I have a screenshot of.

I made an armoredCL 14 one, but I didn't think to get a screenshot of him, and it's sold now, so I got no proof.

Hehe, that's a pretty funny one. More of a achievement in pet creation then a useful pet, but pretty neat nonetheless. I think it's fun sometimes to create wierd pets just for the sake of making em.

I regularly create CL 21 lightly armored pets, and generally when I get there I stop and am super happy with the result. Generally around 9k HAM with 150 damage or so and 50% kinetic, vuln to all else. I've never had the guts to even try to sample such a creation, lol, I'm always terrified of failing and it *poofing* on the first try.

Back when the pet crafting system was brand new I created a CL 20 armored pet. I was carrying it in my backpack, travelling back to my store and a guy out of the blue came and asked me if I had a CL 20 lightly armored pet, lol. When I showed it to him in a trade window he was shocked, and speechless. I guess he expected me to laugh at his request and tell him "no way".
