It will greatly depend on what stats you want in the rancor. CL 40 isnt all that hard to hit (withen a CL or two anyway) but depending on ham, special moves, dammage, resists the dificulty to make and the price goes up. try giveing more details on what you want sence we can put almost any stats into any of the skins we have.

right duh hehe..ok umm..sorry about that..
i was thinking something along the lines of light armor, good kinetic reists, and special moves dont matter much since they dont even work most of the time heh..atleast not for me

so your generic PvE pet eh? light armor 9-11k ham or so and kenetic the only important resist. Those arnt that hard to make but price will depend on the BE (I'm on corbantis so couldnt help ya) most likely 100k ish or so, maybe more maybe less, realy depends on how the econemy is on your server.

If you supply the template the price would drop quite a bit... but if you can supply the template why wouldn't you make your own creature? Rancors aren't that great. They're big and slow. I'd rather have a razor cat or a gurreck.

cause I'm a starwars nerd at heart I guess hehe..and as for why not, cause the rancor schematic is only available at master..Im just 2-2-4-2..at best for now I've made a CL36 critter..so i figure my templates could possibly reach 40 or so if a master BE had a hold of one..but, maybe Im wrong?

No pun intended but if you can obtain your own dna template and supply the flora/meat it takes then why didnt you ask the BE you bought your template from to just throw it together..The template and flora is what makes up the core price of any pet. If he charged you to put it together you got one pirating BE on your server..But yeah thats just crazy you have a template yet you don't have the BE to put it together ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I generally sell complete rancors for 80k when I was making them. Too busy with chef to worry about pets lately. You can offer the template to my vendor and I can put it together for you no charge. You'll need to catch up with me some time this weekend to pick up the thing though. BTW, if it crits, it crits, so a couple templates would be a wiser choice.
Offer to Buffy in the bacta tank.
