Thread: Ayris' Midnight Tybis Finally hit the bullseye

I have been trying for almost 3 weeks to make a particular pet for a custom order, and seriously underestimated the difficulty of getting it right, but last night I finally came up with a winner.
Ayris' Midnight Tybis - CL 70
Health: 12938

I would like to have hit 60% Kinetic, and gotten a ranged attack as well, but the balanced HAM all over 12K, the full resist profile, quite acceptable damage and the special combination I was after all make for a pretty decent creature.
After chowing down on some Pyrollian cake and a kiss for luck from Artful, I used the common recipe of 4 mutant rancor in slots 1-4, all were HQ or VHQ, and a VHQ Rancor youth in slot 5. Experimented physique to 1 "slot" short of full, about 698 for Hardiness, and then maxed prowess, psychological (hoping for that 60% Kinetic), then balanced up the mental and agression.
I stopped with one point of experimentation left, fearing another CL 71 like my last 3 Tybis attempts for this customer, and I used 975 OQ flora and 983 OQ meat in making the "skin" to get the -1 CL that sometimes seems to be an effect of the higher quality components, though nothing is really "proven" yet, held my breath and hit "assemble".
BTW, he's a "midnight" Tybis for using the deepest of the red shades, which comes out a very dark purple shade on them, quite a unique looking creature. I am glad the customer asked to have something different, once he understood that the template was the key and the rest was animations and run speed, he picked one he had always wanted to tame for a pet and we concentrated on abilities.
No, it doesn't take the pain of weeks of getting my nightly beatings from the rancor fight-clubs away, but I will likely be back for yet another beating tonight..
If you're on Chilastra and want to see him, he's standing in one of the "pet pens" in our shop in Storm Haven, -7171 5522 on Naboo, about 2 minutes from Theed starport on a bike. Ayris will be picking him up (probably 5 minutes after I log in) tonight. The "pet room" is the front room off the main room in the medium Naboo we use for a shop there.

Very very nice pet, Congrats!!
This old wookie got his furry axxx kicked by mutants sooooo many times and now he is wondering he want to go back to that hole again or not....

Thanks. I'm saving that recipe and the list of stats I experimented up to for future refinement and just glad I finally accomplished it.

In response to the price question, I had never even discussed it with the customer. I asked her if she felt 250K was reasonable for the Tybis. She handed me 1,000,000 in trade a second later.
The credits are nice, but it is hearing the customer say WOW, that's fantastic, and oohh, it's so cute.. that is what makes the regular beatings by mutant rancors and replacing a suit of Ubese avery 2 weeks worth it, I think.
