Thread: No love for BEs with the new loot/schematics?

I have been looking around, and it seems there are no new schematics for us BEs. Not only that, but most (if not all) other professions have gotten a crafting apron or toolkit, but not us.
I know there is supposedly some Research Data out there somewhere, but I haven't found any and don't know the stats on any of it or what it does.
Couple this with no skill tapes, no skill buffs from new food and we are still high and dry. I have almost given up on taking custom orders because I have been suffering a rediculusly high rate of failures in experimentation and bad luck with passing special attacks. Not to mention crit fails on assembly.
Sorry for the complaining, but I am a little down on BE lately. That and being a CH is totally useless when it comes to the GCW and PvP.

As far as the criticals, I hear you brother. However, the next patch should fix that. We did get the shellfish tool, oh boy. But you are right that we dont have any skill tapes, special clothes, special chef foods. But remember BE has come a long way in the last 3 months... have more faith if its possible...

Nope - Artisan get the shellfish tool .. and we can buy it from them...
(OK - *if* you are a artisan with at least 3 x x x - you can make it by yourself)

Actually, if you're not a combat type, you can't get the shellfish tool schematic. I didn't have any problems taking down the BH to get it, butthen I am aTKM.

I have stopped doing pet orders aswell since they are just to much trouble for to little money, Now i only make pets for myself and fun when i get bored with crafting and hunting.

I got the schematic and I have 0 combat skills, I'm not even novice marksman.
I took the 7k HAM BH down all by myself, got the schematic, trained up to eng 3, learned the schematic then droped the skills - and I can still make it.
As for the crafting apron - it would be no use to use whatsoever - as the apron gives +5 to experimentation and you need +10 to get an extra point
