Thread: Beware of Piollian Cake

It seems lately that the more creatures I clone, the quicker my critical failures approach infinity. In my honest opinion, Piollian Cake not only works not with BE, but it lowers our chances of a good craft. I've NEVER SEEN SO MANY F*CKING crits until I started using it. So, beware fellow BE's, spare your credits and don't buy the crap. Today's example for the record:
2: attempts to create a creature
2: critical failures
100% failure and with piollian cake.
I'll go a week without it and give you a record. I'm pissed beyond belief now.

Is it really? Have you tested it at all? Or is it in the notes?

Tested it myself, fwiw previously pyollian cake had 0 effect on DNA template crafting, didnt make it better or worse, it didnt touch the code at all. Thats now been fixed.
Your 2 crits fails is a bad bit of luck, but it doesnt prove that pyollian cake causes crit fails.

How about FS Crafting boxes (+assembly), will those also affect making DNA templates?

They *should* do, Kel said he fixed that at the same time as the food bonuses but since I cant test it I'll just have to take his word for it.
