I would like to point out that I didn't invent this macro. I found in somewhere on the forums, but it doesn't hurt to post it here in case someone else is equally bored with gathering sampling xp as I am.
First adjust your field of view to the maximum. Go into third person viewing mode.
Call out a droid, put it in the center of a noobie mob spawn ground. Give it a command to stay put and group with it.
Tilt your camera angle down so you don't target anything 150m away.
Press Ctrl+Shift+S so your camera will circle around your toon.
Start the macro.
The Macro.
/ui action targetSelf;
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/follow;
/pause 15;
/sampleDNA;
/pause 11;
/sampleDNA;
/pause 11;
/sampleDNA;
/pause 11;
/sampleDNA;
/pause 11;
/ui targetGroup0;
/pause 1;
/follow;
/pause 15;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
(Place the macro in the first toolbarslot.)

This macro seems to work pretty good for me except for the following part. Why is it that when i /follow something i don't actually follow it? My guy will start moving but only in the direction of the target, not at it.. and if i pass the target up i just keep running. Is there something i am doing wrong, or is it suppose to work like that?

to sucessfully follow, you must turn your chase cam off, else it gets messed up, the direction of the camera overrides the direction of the creature

If you have combat skills you can leave your char goin all night I would think. Allthough I have never tried sampling with a full inventory. Does anyone know if you still get xp if you're sampling and you'r inventory is full?

If your inventory is full then you fail in getting a sample and therefore get no exp for it.

I just thought of a use I can put this macro to...
I've picked up CH again and last time I had CH I made trash pets while levelling Sampling for BE. I bet as a MBE with this macro I'd have a sackful of trash pets in no time.
Then you tame them one at a time and teach them every command you know for an easy 100XPper command,when you don't feel like going off fighting in the wilds *grins*

Also, even though you could afk macro like this, it's also a good idea to have a BE crafting macro running. All you have to do is click the resources and you'll be getting crafting and sampling xp at the same time. You'd have to stop crafting when you aggro a creature though and restart the macros.
Anyone know about the sampling with a full inventory thing? Do you still get xp even though you don't have enough room for the samples?

Ah sorry, must have skipped over your post. Hmmm, gotta figure out a way to quickly clear inventory.

You could have a crafting macro to open up the kit with the DNA Template schematic, and just shove in whatever DNA samples you can click on the fastest, then have it combine in practice mode so it doesn't put anything in your inventory. I don't think there's a way to manipulate items in inventory if you're AFK, so you'd still have to be keeping an eye on your character while you do this. Sounds like it's Movie Time again... with all the crafting grinding people have to do in this game, there should be some free passes for DVD rentals or something.
Also, about making the junk BE pets to use for a little boost to Creature Handling experience, I did just that the other night. My Mon Cal is a Bio Engineer, and he's in the middle of working on the DNA Sampling tree, so he was zooming around between a few lairs sampling DNA for a couple hours. Since I didn't care about the DNA, and had actually destroyed a lot of it earlier, I decided that I would just sample until my inventory was full, and then grind out some junk DNA Templates to stash in my backpack and mouse droids. When I was done sampling for the night, I went back to town and used all of those junk DNA Templates to churn out about 20 Gnorts, then gave them all to my Wookiee Creature Handler to train. Since the DNA was from different creatures, and I wasn't paying attention to what I used in each schematic, some of the Gnorts had Special Attack 1 and some did not, but overall, each one was worth about 1200 experience to my CH. I don't think it's something that a person would want to do for the entire Creature Handler profession, but it sure is a nice little boost to get you closer to that next box you're trying to earn, and if you know a Bio Engineer that's sampling a lot of junk DNAanyway just for the experience, then you can get a large number of pets to train that way.
