Thread: Why do BE's not have any SEAs??

I'm just wondering, it seems like every single other professions has Skill enhancing attachments for just about everything.


We could use Experimentation, assembly, etc...


Why do BE's get the shaft?

For us it all croxes on the Secret Research Data, when we find that we will be at one with the crafting.

As for your second comment I am glad we go SHAFT!, she has been doing an excellent job.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

We simply do not need SEA's because not only are we the best, we make the best too=)


We don't even need the secret stinkin' research data, fact when it comes into the game finally, ain't none of us going to use it....right guys?

The short and simple asnwer is they added the skill tapes before they added our profession and just never got around to it since, for a long time we couldnt even have trainers in player cities.

Obviously its a very simple thing to fix but in the grand scheme of things its not a top priority, its not even a top priority for the profession (according to the top 5 poll)

And tbh theres been a lot of debte as to whether we even want SEA.

There are times I would love to have a couple of extra exp points (especially with a late failure), but a vast majority of the time I stop with points left over.

Frankly, we don't need SEAs because usually I've used all my SP and maxed out on tissues' bonus. It all it would mean that BE would become a dabblers profession where Chefs could take up do BE 4040, get an extra +20 experimentation and still be able to make most of the additives they need. It would cut us out the market. We should only get SEAs if theymodify the cap on additives accordingly.

Actually. I would love to have DNA Sampling SEA's. If my assumption that the max level you can sample is directly related to your skill in DNA Sampling, with +25 DNA Sampling, we could theoretically sample level 93 creatures! (I think this actually includes the peko peko albatross )

hehe, I would agree with tha statement except for one thought: I wouldn't mind +25 in tissue/genetic assembly. the fewer crits for me the better. each time i crit, i lose 2 years of life.

Yes, I use all pts and still have extra exp pts left over on additives too. But there are many other items were I would love to have a few more pts. Just seems other prof crafters can constantly try to gain more SEAs to make them better at crafting items, where they cancraft average materials into something superb whereas a non-sea crafter would take those average materials and make something average.


I would prefer something to strive for, towards not just waiting for the next shift good of flora or meat. That every single BE (year old or day old) in the game makes the same exact items with them.


Every other profession has them, and loves them. We should too.
