I see people talking about valid vs invalid pets. I don't understand what makes a pet valid or invalid and furthermore what I can do to avoid wasting my DNA on an invalid one. I've made some pets with what I would consider high health DL 11 with 2400 Health (yeah but silly me I experimented on Prowness and it has 546 Action doh!). Is this thing going to spontaneously become invalid later?

Unfortunitly we don't really know how/why certain pets are made invalid. There is a pet checker that, upon taming, evaluates the pet's stats and checkes them against their level. This check is very buggy and most of the time the uber pets get through the check while the low level pets get marked as "invalid". From my understanding this happens most at the lower levels <20 or so. There are a few combonations that make good "valid" lower level pets on the forums, mostly having to do with Votitor Dashers combined with lower level critters with desirable specials.

Sorry to be kind of vauge but as to my understanding we are not entirly sure as to what makes some pets invalid while others that seem to be more uber are valid.
