so three of us head out to gather up the latest greatest meat that is on the server. woo hoo oq and pe above 900. 2 days later 104k meat stocked up and our bio engineer friend whips up a variety of 86 and 87 bsn's and starts the factories running. we are doing the old high 5 for the hard work we spent together gathering up all this meat then we see the forumn posts.... wtb <insert name here since i cant remember it.> meat 100 cpu and its early in the shift. so the bio engie does some calculations and what do we figure out. 6-7 mil for5 full 1k runs of bsn to be competitive in the market place or sell it for 10.4 mil to the billionaires.STOP THE FACTORIES !!! can the suggestion of lowering the ingredients requirements be brought up to the developers. i mean really 20k meat and 80 or so k flora to do a run?what can be done? make our bio engineer the master chef and the merchant? (that is if we can cough up the 30+ million for chef tapes) oh wait not enough skill points. not all of us can afford multiple accounts to make this gameplay continue. can something be drafted up and presented to the developer team to make this still a competitive area for all? fwiw i think if ingredient requirements are lowered, it seams to me i heard somewhere (i might be wrong) but it takes more meat and flora to make the tissues then it takes for the chef to make the final product

To be honest, I think the fact that we have lots of meat in our tissues is the only thing that is saving us from ourselves. It regulates our production and makes it impossible for one person to make an amount of product that would otherwise be only limited by the number of lots that he/she had.. If our tissues were based entirely of flora,I fear we'd just see BE become a power gaming thing andprices would plummet to bazaar prices (6k/crate) and below.

I think something should be done similar to the other crafting professions. Having a toon that is Artisan and an Architect, I can tell you that in many items only one stat factors in production. For instance, swoops only need high Shock Resistance. OQ etc does not effect the final product. Perhaps we could have a similar thing? Perhaps if we add more stats to meat/flora and change the requirements of BEs/Chefs/Docs so that there are differences but perhaps just sharing one overall stat?
