but i want to be. what is the better way to get there? i have not been playing long so i was wondering if i should just craft biological controllers or maybe buy the components and craft some B grade stimpacks? what do people normally do to get there? what i triedwas sitting in a cantina healing ppl and making stimpacks. the healing was done for no real reasonother thani had the stimpacks to spare and they were all pretty crappy anyway.

I think BECs where the best to craft but that was from a long time ago. The best place to look would be on the medic forum. i'm betting their faq tells you the fastest way to get crafting exp.

Please also make sure you read the BE FAQ and FAFAQ posted at the top of this forum. They will help you more than you know once you're a Novice BE.

Good Luck

I started a couple of days ago and Im 2414 already - the FAQs here are amongst the best Ive seen for any profession. Best tip is learn how to use a crafting macro if youve never used one before - along with lots of double clicking its essential.

yes macros are nice but i just cant stand( or sit as it would be) stillclick click clicking. less is more to me and im sure to everyone else. i want to know how to do less...clicking.

yesterday i got the organic chem 4after hours and hours of sitting in the cantina grinding. i guess i could have done it faster than the time i did take if ihadnt stopped to heal ppl. now im at 2800 or so on my way to novice BE but im so uninspired to sit down and click click. maybe it has something to do with the fact that im doing droid engineering as well.

sad to say but the med XP is the easiest crafting XP requirement for the whole of BE

Unless you intend to level up enitrely on making pets (which would probably take about a year ) you've got a lot more clicking to come.... *replacement mouse on standby*

There is absolutely nothing that says you have to grind through a profession. If you do grind a profession once you get to master you're going be just as clueless as when you were a novice.

You're going to need scouting skills to get to BE along with your medic. Go out there and kill every thing that you come across and save the meat. It's all about meat. You can never have enough. Once you've got hunting out of the way start sampling yard trash animals. You'll fail a lot but when the animalsaggroyou won't die. If you do die at least the cloners is real close lol. As you work your way up DNA sampling go to some of the adventure planets and sample higher level animals.

Take time to study the DNA you're getting. All those numbers mean things. Make low level animals like gnorts out of yard trash DNA. Keep notes what the different DNA does in different slots. Make pet stims and vita packs andsell them on the bazaar. People will buy them even if they are lower quality as long as you price them accordingly.

If you grind the profession you'll end up hating it. If you study and play the profession you'll enjoy it and you'll be infinitely better off for it. Oh, and no it doesn't take a year to master BE by just playing the profession.
