ok so a MCH came up to me and said he wanted me to make him a pet. these were his requests
Kimo
+10K HAM
light armor
high resis (especially kin)
said it did not matter what specials it had, but that he wanted Strong Disease on it. also ranged would be nice
so i went out and sampled, and sampled and sampled.
after 3 days of rancor sampling ( bad luck ) and about 2 days on endor, looking for the elusive bark mite harvestor queen. i was able to make the pet. here are its stats
KIMO
CL 52
H 12k
A 10.8k
M 8,7k
Light Armor
kin 57
energy 48
heat 78
elec 65
acid 78
attk speed 2.15
to hit .38
Stunning attack
Strong Disease
Ranged Attack
i consider it a success seeing as i met his requisits. what should i charge??

As the "Skin" has no effect on the pet, other than min CL, the question should reallybe what to charge for a pet with these stats, not just a Kimo...
I personally use a program called JCreatureCalc. You can find it using a search on google, or I think you can find it from www.swgcreatures.com.
Instead of just the old arbitrary 1000 per CL, this program takes into account ALL of the creatures stats and specials to come up with a fair price...both for you and the CH.

I did not see a damage rating in your post, but assuming a damage of 450-460 and the other resists are 0, the price I calculate using JCreatureCalc is: 95000
Nice pet!

All my first gens are CL x 1000 + 10k for armour. Seems to be nice and steady, don't really make pets for the money - more for the fun element.

Not gonna comment on the price, as my one attempt at compiling some useful pricing info was squashed a few months back, but I'll just say that I strongly resist making custom kimos, and here's why. Kimos are good for exactly one thing: to gawk at. Someone pulls them out and everyone goes "oooh there's a kimo!" and that is why people want them. But they are completely impractical to hunt with as they are too slow and blow your view of what is going on, so your customer is very unlikely to actually use this pet that your slaved over more than once or twice. That, for me, is a bit tough to swallow, so when somebody asks me for a kimo, I tend to grill them a bit on exactly what they want it for and how they intend to use it, and most of the time, just making something cheap and easy so others can gawk at it appreciatively is the way to go.

Agreed Arthur, but there's something to say for making one of your own, for people to gawk at both the stats and the 'skin', heh heh. My CL 70 tends to get nice comments. However, when I make use of my CH skills for fighting, I do so usually not even with a 60+ pet, but rather with the improved viability of dual or triple calls.
