I'm curious about the pet deeds that do not list CL, armor, or resists and have secondary stats for HAM.Has anybody tried to sample dna from them recently and if so what were the results? How do you know if a CH can tame it if the CL is not listed....can they still be tamed? Any info or a link to discussion about this would be great.

cl1???
That doesn't sound very fair. The deedI havehas around 15K HAM and a max damage around 1200. I bought it because it was cheap and I had never seen stats like that (Im a pretty new BE). Are these deeds now considered a bug or exploit? Should I destroy it?

no I would put them in a museum tbh - i dont think you should destroy them but i wouldnt sell / tame them because they are exploits. but i think just as long as you don't use them then there is nothing wrong with keeping them imo.

You can tame em, aside from the Kimogilas, and they come out 0/1 or 1/0, I can't remember offhand.
They give the wild animal's level/xp though, so you can use a rancor at novice, but it gives barely any xp.
be warned, CSRs delete these pets with no warning so be careful if you do.

Most of them from that time period, and some from after the Feb. nerf (I think Feb) come out as cl 0/1. Also, not all of those pets that they said were deleated or made unusable expect after trade in were nerfed. I know there is a set of rancors named Boris and Natasha out there somewhere that I made, a kwi, some cats, and a ton of spiders and gruals. They were just laying around the house as deeds and didnt know they were level 1 or 0 with 12k ham, and 600 damage and poison specials until after I sold them, and people were like WOW.
