Points to the FAQ.
Unless you're talking about getting from 0004 medic to novice BE - In that case, you Advanced bio effect controllers, or chem release duration mechs in practice mode.

What is the best schematic to use to grind novice BE? Do certain schematics give better xp?

Hi All
Just looking for someones advice on what the fastest method is to 1) grind my way through the medic crafting xp 2) grind up through BE
Not a hologrinder - just wanted to change my profession to something different and thought I give BE a try since I am already a Master Ranger.
Thanks

Hey,
you need to grind stimpacks until you get pharma 4 then come back here and look at the BE Faq 2.0 Sticky

I became a novice BE the other day thinking I would be able to start making clothes that used constrictor cloths and such. However, I soon realized that I could not make constrictor cloth until I was at least a novice tailor. So, grind, grind, grind to become a novice tailor. Now I can make contrictor cloth that I can not use until I grind more tailor (I think). It seems that in order for the BE to be useful, they need to have CH, Tailor, and BE skills which I now all have.
My question is, at what level of Tailor and BE can someone make bio-engineered clothing?
How can I tell what the maximum level of creature I can extract DNA from?
Is there a market for BE'd clothing, DNA, or Creatures (enough to earn a living with)?
/feeling a little frustrated

you don't have to be a tailor to make constrictor cloth. you just have to be one to use it. aBE doesn't make clothes. that's the tailor's job. your job is to supply the tailor with the BE components to make their clothing better and more powerful. you also supply chefs with suppliments to do the same to their food and drink. BE's are very useful without being anything but a BE.
also you make pets for CH and non-CH. that will make you a lot of money. you make pet stims for non-medics to use on their pets. you make vitality packs for pets. it seems you have completely missed the point of what BE's do.

Tailors make clothes
BE's make tissues.
If you want to make the best BE clothes then you're going to have to master both. You do NOT need to be CH to make and sell pets. Pets can be sold in deed form on vendors, tamed pets cannot.

Sorry, I guess I didn't phrase my questions right.
I was hoping that as a Novice tailor I could at least begin to use some of the novice BE constrictor cloth. It seems I can't do that until I advance in Tailor. However, I was hoping to find out at which point Tailor and BE really start complimenting each other. I really wanted to create BE'd clothing. Any help here would be appreciated.
Also, in regards to creatures, I have been wondering how to determine what levels of creatures I can sample. When I come up to a red dot on my radar I have this desire to get its DNA to experimentation. However, the examine creature does not give a CL# does it? Is there a master list of creatures that has the CL#s on them?
I seen many posts about Kimogolas. I thought no one could use them as they were untameable. Has this been fixed?
Thanks,
Vahe

To make the best tissues/additives, you really need Master BE (and good creature food, and GREAT flora) for the experimentation.
Prior to that, you might be able to supply cut-rate additives for chefs, but they won't be all that great. Then again, I wouldn't know, as I always had SOMETHING to make money with...
The best way to find CL is either to master scout, or check out http://www.swgcreatures.com/for whichever creature.
CHs can't tame wild Kimogilas, but BEs can make pets with the Kimogila skin. I think they have a minimum CL of 40, so the pet had better be VERY strong before you bother...
