You need not only the kinetic resist, but light armor at least to go up against krayts, as their damage output will overwhelm your ability to keep the pet adequately healed without it. It's not even difficult to make a pet of that level at the 23-34 range, so an MCH could rotate 3 of them as tanks against the krayt if they were good with the /tellpet command and familiar enough to make macros for it to direct the current "tank" to withdraw and the next one to step up. Arm a few friends with good pet stims and befriend the pets to them, so they can call one to them to heal up while the next one tanks.

One IMPORTANT point. /Tellpet cannot be used reliably with single letter pet commands. All these people you see shouting A and F in trying to control their pets have handicapped themselves in the name of not having to waste a hotkey on the word Attack, since the /tellpet command apparently strips or cannot properly parse a one or two letter command effectively.

Could a pet be made, to have 10k HAM, and 80% or more kinetic resistance? I don't care if it has a CL of 70, I just need something that can go against a krayt well, and they do kinetic damage obviously. I know my BE buddy can make 10k HAM monsters, but he can't get the kinetic resist up that high. Is it possible to have a creature like this, and how might that be done?

Also...Damage doesn't matter, and specials don't matter, it just needs to have about 10k HAM (i could bend a bit and go less on this one) and at least 80% kinetic.

A few more questions...what does pet armor rating and pet HAM max out at? I'm thinking one pet with medium armor and 15k HAM would be better than 3 pets, as it's easier to control just one pet than three.

Light armor max, and 13K ham at the most.

That's why 2 mid level pets are recomended. They will have higher combined HAM than a single high level pet.

Notcompletely true abouthowtell pet works. The tell pet command does not work on one letter commands. However, it does work with anything two letters and longer. For example I use aa and a1 for my attack commands, andff and f1 for the follow me command (most often have two pets out.) I have the macros maped to my keypad so I don't have to waste space on every one of my combat bars. This allows me to send one into combat while the other is held in reserve and guards my back. Using this it is very easy to send the reserve in and call the attacker out if it needs to be healed. I have been using these commands since back in the good old days of the pet wars when you would grab two baby grand wrixes to call for power leveling. In review, tellpet works for every command of two letters or longer.
