Thread: My money making experiences
You'll probably never sell individual tissues on the bazaar. They're practically worthless since Chefs and Tailors need crates of identical BE components to do their factory runs.

Ok, Im not a MBE, Im only 0 22 1 but I figured Id try to see what makes money on the server Im on. So while Im grinding my tissues I wait till I get an amazing result and switch it off practice and make one and if not amazing just grind practice. I then took the results and plopped them on the bazaar for 100 creds. Not one of them sold, they all fell off the bazaar. I figured some chef out there (if they saw them) would at least try them out. I know I would.
yeah that makes sense. I guess I figured there'd be at least one chef out there grinding that could see it and see what it did to his own personal food supply.
Bulk it would make sense to do that.
Squygxicus,
Hmm, sorry to hear that your tissues aren't selling (join the crowd actually, lol). But I'm a little surprised that you aren't having any luck on the bazaar. Back when I was a novice artisan (noob) and also back when I had a friend who was a novice chef last fall we sold a lot of individually, hand crafted, food on the baazar. Even food that was very very weak by today's standards sold very well. It was a major money maker for us and it certainly would have been attractive to buy multinutrient supplements for 100cr and greatly enhance the power of our food. The other thing I see an awful lot on Bria is people selling clothing on the bazaar that have +1 - +3 bonuses, which tells me that there would seem to be a market for those tissues. Those are actually a nuisance to me, because I'm competing against those items with no bonuses (I reserve my bio clothing for my vendor).
Sanity check: what bazaar are you using? Hopefully Bestine, Theed, or preferably Coronet. Which supplements are you making? It would seem to me that the ones that would potentially have the widest appeal would be micronutrient supplements since novice artisans and chefs alike could use them. They can literally go into any food item.

Im a Master bio-engineer and have been for some time now. Most tailors and chefs want tissues in creates but i find that most BEs have contracts all ready with chefs and tailors, so finding a buyer is hard unless you own a shop.
About making money - like I said, I own a shop selling pets, petmeds and tissues and my tissues sell really well and I have a good custumor base now.
P.S How do you released a creature back into the Wild?

And yes, I've posted to the trade boards and the Flurry boards asking for a master BE. People don't want creds i guess
OR ... demand exceeds supply.
I am lucky. I have a good guild that helps me out emensly. Many memnbers will join in a hunt for specific meats if I organize it... and I can rack up some large quantities of meat rather quickly. I just wish the darned Racnor meats would roll strong again...
I either buy the meats from the hunters or I do other favors for them like providing them with Per Stimpacks or Vitality POacks (If I ever get them to work).
I also have two chefs in my guild (Arco Corporation on Valcyn). They are keeping me hard at work making all the food addatatives I can make! I sell everything for a straight 20K per case to guild members.
