How is posting a link to one of the most useful sites out there for BE's spam? he didn't make more than 1 thread about it (on this forum at least, and it's the only one I really read since *our* galaxy forum is nothing but trash talking rebs/imps).

FWIW the website is linked on the FAQ and is totally unecessary.

Hmm site must have gotten better since I last checked it out. As Nancy stated there was a period where he was bumping this seemed like every day. Don't know if seeing it again is what Ameno was refering to or if he put thi on lots of different boards(only read this and trade with regularity.)

The flak I get from these forums is totally unjustified. I worked hard on this site and all you do is complain when I mention it.
Sure, I was advertising it awile back, but what do you expect! I bet only 20% of BE actually troll the forums and like 10% read the FAQ
Nice new correspondant. Learn to spell.
Oh, and griefers will be BANNED off my forums, as there is no useless posting allowed. Unlike some forums I know.

FWIW spamming the forums about your website is against the forum policies.
The reason you get so much flak on the forums is because of your aggressive attitude.
The first time I saw a link to you website it was in your sig, in bright green and taking up 3 times more room on the page than your actual thread contribution.
After reducing your sig to a more reasonable size you then tried to perma-bump a link thread about the site.
After complaints about the amount of advertising on the site (in my browser the ads take up 1/3rd of the page) you say the reason is to pay for bandwidth - if you were having such a big problem with bandwidth then why advertise so aggressively?
...that and the lack of original content on the site. Granted there is some useful information about tissues that isnt in the guide stickied to the top of the forums, but apart from that a lot of it seems to be cut and paste... much like SOE's guide.
If you feel having your link in the FAQ is so useless - I can easily remove it.... and this thread fwiw.

this aggressive advertising is about as annoying as the afk spammers standing outside of theed and coronet
