Heya, I just picked up the Bio-Engineering profession the other day, up to 1/0/1/1 now and am trying to find good things to sample. I've found that Dewbacks are kinda good, and I did a little scouting on Dantooine and got a bit of Bol DNA that I made a cool Bagerdaset(sp) with that was lvl17. But I'm wondering if anyone knows good things to sample on like Tatooine or one of the lower lvl planets. Dantooine is nice but there are a lot of agro mobs running around and my sampling skill isn't quite up to the lvl it needs to be. I found myself succeeding on 1in5 samples and agro'ing at almost the same rate :/

Also I'm starting to understand the stats, and experimentation and such. How do you tell what level the creature you are making will be.. if at all? Also what do the different hide colors denote? I originally thought they were just an extra option but I hear they have something to do with agressiveness or something.. can someone explain?

I've read the FAQ, some good basic info there, but I couldn't find an answer to the above questions contained within it.

Oh, almost forgot. I see people talking in this forum about formulas, what exactly is a formula? lol

Thanks

Xaielao

Yard trash till you get to sampling two then hit up Dant and do pickets. You can also go to SwgCreatures and do a creature search for non-agressive creatures. Higher the level the more the exp.

No way of telling CL of your clone until it is made. Hide colors (better known as "skins") denote nothing. However, different skins do effect the min CL of your clone and weather or not it is aggro.

Formulas refer to DNA combos BE use to make their creatures

GL anf hope this helps
