I think I read where you can actually sample BE pets?
Do you get XP for that? Does it "destroy" the pet? Can you Sample it over and over for XP?

You do get XP, The pet will be destroyed eventually if you keep doing it. I think the chance is that same as killing it for wild creatures, If you are leveling and not grinding its a fun way to get used to playing with cloning!

To clarify, you can sample BE "Deeds", UNTAMED pets only. It is frequently used to make better pets though multiple generations. You cannot sample any pet, wild or cloned, that has been tamed.

If you are thinking about doing it to xp through the sampling tree i wouldn't do it, only because you don't get alot of xp for it. I think the xp you get for it never exceeds 50 no matter how high a lvl creature you make.
