Well, it's time to move on from SWG. Actually, I moved on quite a while ago but kept visiting this board thanks to the use of my sister's account, but she's finally decided to call it quits also. I know the boards are public and can be viewed by anyone now, but not the same thing not being able to actually post and interact when I wanted to. At first, I thought I'd take a break and target my return after JTL launched, but in reading through the forums and hearing about what JTL had to bring, there really wasn't anything to make me want to return. I think the merchant nerf was probably the last straw for me. I began the game with MBE as my goal (I'm one of the old timers, mastering BE prior to the so-called "CH nerf," before BE became a FotM for a while) and it is as a MBE that I will retire. I've never really had the interest in going after jedi, nor do any other professions interest me, except maybe those that will supplement BE, and then again, we're not exactly given another hundred skill points to use.

While not as active a poster as many of you (especially in recent times), I've thoroughly enjoyed this forum community. We took a lot of flak for many things by various professions, but through all of it I've always enjoyed checking in on the boards even when I stopped playing.

Nancy, you've been a great correspondent. Good luck to whatever you do next. Hope you'll still pop in and give your words of wisdom.

Arthur, I've always enjoyed reading your posts. They were always honest and insightful, and I learned a lot from you when I was grinding my way through the profession. I admit to being your "five-star groupie," as I couldn't stand it when someone would one star (probably one of those damn chefs ) one of your very good posts.

Then of course, there are the rest of you. I won't even try to name any more, because I'm likely to inadvertently leave someone out. Suffice it to say, that I will miss everyone here. I'll try to pop in and see what's going on from time to time, and who knows? Maybe something earthshattering will actually happen and bring me back to the game (the reason I kept all my credits on me rather than give it away like all my stuff)!
