Thread: dna samples
i was wondering, what do you bio engineers think of allowing scouts be alble to harvest dna samples?..
i mean , it shouldn't take a bio engineer degree in order to collect a piece of hair..etc off a creature right?
so i wonder, i would think this could create another way for the player scouts to make some credits, by helping and supplying the bio engineers dna samples, and perhaps rangers will be able to take samples off of more dangerous creatures because of their superior camoflouging abilities...anyway..
i've been a bio engineer, it wasn't particularly hard collecting dna samples to grind, but i dont know...
good idea ..bad idea?..just a thought

Yes, it's all well and good to know the sample quality, but the creature type is more important when making use of it. In the field, though, knowing sample quality allows worse samples to be discarded with less trouble...
Current:
High Quality DNA Sample
Solution:
DNA Sample of Nuna (High Quality)
Because 'DNA sample' is at the front, it auto sorts all samples together and doesnt mix up with other items. Then just put the critter name and then the quality in brackets. That's really all you need as the item name.

An elegant and simple approach.
Therefore it's totally out of the question for implementation in game. ![]()
