if you take all the dna from the SAME wild creature in order to make a pet, does the clone come turn out exactly like the donor animal.

in other words, is it an actual "clone" of the original?

Well, I can't answer 100%

but if I were to sample it, and make it, it'd turn out at 60% the level, and the same resists(no idea on ham, as I can't read HAM of the donor)

To get the HAM of the donor, just release yoru mouse, hit alt, then put the cursor over the HAM bars of the target and it will tell you how much HAM they have and their HAM cap. For example 10765/11123. !0765 is their current Health, 11123 is their Total Health.

So, the resists would all be identical, but the CL would be lower?

Would the specials be the same too?

(you can see HAM on a wild animal by hovering your mouse over it's HAM bars when you have it selected)

Wow, I wish I had known that, ROFL

For me, I'm 2/0/2/0 BE

A master probably gets around 90%-100% of original CL and HAM, but some specials dont' cross over. I think other things depend on experimenting.

I've tried it several times, with several different critters, and my end result is always 60% if its all 5 same DNA of average(what I can get)
